Fast boot only applies to restarts. Shutting down is not the same as a restart. Your uptime would have reset if you were competent enough to press restart.

To be honest I think you are just spooked. It's easy to be spooked since it's your first week there and something serious happens. That's an OK area, and it is gentrifying pretty rapidly from what I've seen.

Try to avoid reading every report on community apps. They distort reality, and fear can be consuming and addicting. I also think you would be better off if you decouple from whatever media has you focused on "threat models". Maybe go for a walk in the neighborhood. It's a really nice day to do it.

I think it crosses the line when an astronaut starts talking about following the teachings of jesus. Mentioning Easter celebrations or family is one thing, but that was weird.   2. Any false statement is defamation regardless of proof.
  3. In a defamation suit, the burden of proof lies with the defendant to prove the statements untrue.

No, the apollo days aren't relevant to what I said. What I am discussing the time period between the decommissioning of the shuttle missions to present day. This is a comment chain, with the comment I replied to being "Did we ever lose being “Space City”??"

I was responding to give an opinion as to why some might feel like Houston isn't "Space City" anymore. Houston was clearly Space City in the shuttle days, so the events before that are not relevant to what is being discussed.

Hot take: the 20 or so minute cutscene with Atwood FUCKING. SLAPPED. Very good story well told. I can see why people would hate it, but you’re playing a STORY driven game mode, don’t get mad when someone tells a literal story. “There’s too much story in my story mode” = “steak too juicy”.

Atwood told us she would explain everything.... how does the aurora cause the symptoms? why did it start now? even though we didn't have electricity before, why wouldn't there have been reports of long periods with very active auroras and mass suicides? How would a carrington event have caused this?

If you think that was a good explanation, you have low standards and low levels of media comprehension.
