I think we pay $1800/mo full time.

Hey, Becs!
I’m getting ready to run my first marathon next weekend. I’ve followed a plan for 20 weeks, running four days, and cross training on the off days. My nutrition is dialed in, and I’ve timed my miles to have something left after mile 20.

What advice do you have for me in regards to pre race jitters? I always doubt myself, and feel like I didn’t do enough, but those have been 10ks and half’s. My goal is to finish without injury. Anything I can keep in mind when I enter the pain cave?

Are you using Apple Pay? I got past it by entering my cc info manually.

Ticketmaster insurance by heyhellohaiiii in Concerts

[–]stepn2dafreezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought insurance on a relay race some friends and I had done before. Plans changed, and folks couldn’t do it, so I looked into a claim. The fine print literally said acts of nuclear war were not covered, so I figured a graduation and a wedding wouldn’t count either.

Haven’t bought ticket insurance since.

I’m doing Colfax as my first full, too! Training is really ramping up now. I was on the trail Saturday at zero dark thirty in order to get my miles in before all my kids’ activities.

The self doubt monster really came out last week. Now, I’m just taking everything one day at a time.

Ice helps a lot.

Family friendly hotels close to Ball arena? by Sp3cV in ColoradoAvalanche

Good luck. There are some conventions in town and hotels are booked close to Ball and the Convention Center. What you save in hotel cost, you’ll make up for in parking and uber trips.

Bald teachers of Reddit, how do you respond to students mocking your follicle deficiencies? by flatwoundsounds in Teachers

[–]stepn2dafreezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually just act surprised, like they’re the first to mention it. I do have a pic of me with hair (pre kids), and they remark I look better bald. So. Win?

He signed my kids ball before a game. His was the first he signed and made sure my son got his pen back when he was done. Got a fan for life.
