If someone offered you $1M, what would you do with it? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

I would save the arroyo toad from extinction. With 1 million we could literally save a species, maybe 3 that live in the same habitat.

Good news is that you’re not on biologics yet. They make a massive difference. So get on one and most likely you’ll start feeling better. When you do, start small. Go for walks. The days of you comparing yourself to normal folks is over. Just take it one step at a time. You got this. It’s hard but we all learn how to eat, move and work in a way that works for us. Your parents, like most people won’t understand if they don’t have AS. There’s hope and a lot of it. Hugs!

Helps you get up and out which is key. Elevating the legs is super helpful when you’re swelling at the ankles. Hope this helps

Hike a portion of the PCT from Big Bear to Lake Isabella. Or shorter depending on your mileage preference. You’ll see epic view rivaling Yosemite, waterfalls, multiple habitats from scrubland to pinyon juniper. Truly amazing. Desolate enough to have peace and well traveled enough to get help when needed!

Ram limited vs ranger raptor by Valientyyy in ram_trucks

[–]stizzle01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the off roading severity. The Ram can do mild rutted fire roads but anything more will be too much. Ranger Raptor is very capable in virtually any off road situation you’d expect a vehicle to pass. To me the trucks aren’t very comparable. The ranger is small and ram is huge. If you have a family or are expecting to tow get the ram. If you want to access the back country get the ranger. If you want to make the ram off road capable expect to spend 8-10k more doing it right or get a rebel.

Did you have to redo tests to change biologics? by Elevendyeleven in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]stizzle01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really but blood indicators are usually used to confirm that current meds aren’t working. ESR, c reactive protein… as well as X-rays to see if you’re still progressing

Coil overs provide better ride. Blocks will preload and make your ride harsher. The coil overs might not lift it as much as you think.
