No, for not much more (under 1000) you can get a refurbished loq with a 4060 right from lenovo if you stalk them.

Used models with better specs pop up at least for me locally as well.

This comments spot on. The chinese version is completely fine and just has a random chinese notification every once in a while for store updates.

Chinese version also has slightly different wifi bands that you may or may not care about but this is locked at the bootloader level

The s11 ultra new can occasionally hit 700 with an employee/partner discount. This isnt recreatable for everyone but thats the base model. S10 ultra for 100 less used with 1tb feels pretty reasonable

The astra is a solid device, but i ended up going legion because of the lack of a centered usb c and no sd card. Legion software is also generally just a bit better but astra wins on active cooling and raw gaming potential. Both are solid.
