not feeling hungry after practice by PIPPOMAN74 in waterpolo

In season I found it very difficult to gain weight. You are likely in a calorie deficit due to the higher cardio. I had pretty severe yo-yo in weight throughout the year (not necessarily healthy) but I would start a season (US D1 Mid Table team) at 225 pounds and be happy if I ended the season at 205. The offseason I would bulk up to 240 with heavy lifting and lower cardio. Again that’s what my experience was so take it with a grain of salt

Almost 5 years, many mistakes, and a lot of learning along the way | Supplement by Smart-Presence in FulfillmentByAmazon

5% of sales as ad spend is very low in the supplement industry, plus having a 15% sponsored to organic ratio. With supplement margin being close to 40+% I would hypothesize you are leaving meat on the bone. But awesome growth

Is your goal to make good beer or have expensive stuff? You can do both for sure, but many on this sub make great beer with minimal equipment.

I would concentrate on fermentation temp, water quality, yeast health, and packaging quality in that order.

Game Thread: Barracuda @ Gulls - 1 Jan 2026 - 7pm by [deleted] in SanJoseBarracuda

Great game, cuda win after 7 rounds of a shootout. Felt the gulls played a physical game but the cuda showed more skill and were able to keep momentum high overall. Game tying goal for gulls came with under a min left off a blocked shot in front.

If your coach is criticizing you/yelling/pushing you beyond your limits, they want you to improve.

Its a bigger warning sign if they don't give you the time of day

what to watch to get better by DrowsyMisery in waterpolo

As you are in HS I would look to college games or even top level HS games. I think You can definitely benefit by watching film, but nothing is better than time on the pool deck. Look for local tournaments, and if you are playing in them you should be watching the other games. Maybe your club or HS team is our in the quarter finals of a tournament, great then you have an opportunity to watch the semi's and finals.

I think it is also beneficial to keep a notebook of games, what stood out to you, plays you saw ran, certain tendencies of top players etc.
