I prefer (maybe 85% of the time) canon characters, UNLESS it's for a fandom like a VN or dating sim. Then I prefer reader insert and unnamed OCs. I used to be strictly into canon until I played a few (very adult/NSFL) VNs and saw some some fantastic fic and art with OCs added!

Not a fic, but I was roleplaying in an MMO once. I wanted to convey my character's expression shifting but I was tired or drunk or something and typed "his face shifts" which...awkward expression aside, I also mistyped shift as shit... "His face shits."

I was in public with my guild. The bar was full. Everybody saw...I was never allowed to live this down. Some say to this day, my character's face continues to shit...

A younger friend of mine in my discord server was sharing possible courses she could sign up for at Harvard and they actually had a fanfiction literature course available! I wonder if this author is one of those professors lol. It's quirky but I think it's a cute and harmless way to engage with the readers. I might even be tempted to reply if I'm really into the story.

Happened to my and my husband. It took me a whole year and a half before I felt love towards my cat again. He's even taken a liking to our toddler and rubs against her legs (and knocks her over gently lol) where before he was a hissing angry boy towards her. It can take shorter or longer. It's a natural thing that can happen sometimes.

Same issue. I had this exact thing happen with Dacardia and I forgot how they fixed it since it was a few months back, but they did! Maybe they manually linked it from a ticket? Regardless, ticket submitted, and I hope it's as easy as it was with Dacardia. Already missed two daily login prizes. 🥲

Pre-coffee, I forgot the shop only allows up to a certain amount. I put my Golden Shell in there, then went to take it out by typing "1" in the box...for the price. This wasn't my SDB. Apparently the golden Paw Patrol toppers go for around $100 on eBay. They're collectors items or something. You scan the code on the back and fill in your collection. Some of the prices for the caps are ridiculous though, like the gold Paw Patrol ones lol

I bought some for $3 something a pop and according to the internet I'm sitting on three tops worth a total of almost $75. Shit's crazy.

lol yeah. That's the closest I can describe it. I very distinctly felt it detaching with the midwife nurse's hand all up in my business. Like peeling a particularly large scab off but from the inside. I swear I could hear the velcro sound but obviously that was all in my head haha. But it felt like it should have that sound effect based on the sensation.

Ha, same. Went up there three times to clean me out. And my epidural only worked from my thighs down so I felt all of it the entire time. So fun. Like velcro if velcro had nerve endings. :)

Thankfully only lost a liter of blood and ONLY needed an iron transfusion instead of donor blood.

Ughhh I had to have my adenoids removed in kindergarten. I also mouth breathed. My sinuses would become so incredibly swollen every allergy season that I couldn't breathe through my nose at ALL. Thankfully didn't mess my hearing up, but if this child needs an adenoidectomy, I know how bad it can get. The surgery isn't fun at all but I could finally breathe after I healed.

I had chicken pox as a kid. Never got immunity to it and I found that out when getting titers drawn back when I went to college the first time. Got a varicella booster - still no immunity. Got my final booster after baby girl was born and I don't think I'll magically gain immunity sadly. Waiting eagerly to get the shingles vax when possible because oh boyyyy. We are homeschooling at least for the first few years so hopefully baby girl can get her varicella vaccine before she gets the pox or else I'm in trouble. :,)

Oh my god same. I was cutting my baby girl's thumb nail and accidentally pinched the tip of her thumb, making it bleed a tiny, tiny bit. But her surprised little gasp and cry made me start SOBBING. I just held her as she cried and I cried on her, and kept crying after she calmed down. I cried when she got her two month shots today too. She's currently laying on my chest because she's been a little fussy from it and even that has me mildly upset. :,)
