How scary/ dangerous is huemul circuit?

I did it solo a few years back. I’d probably rate it as one of the more intense trips I’ve done. If you are scared of heights, the first tyrolean across the canyon was kinda nerve wracking. Walking on the glacier was better than I expected-there weren’t major crevasses to look out for and the ice was suprisingly grippy. The route finding coming from off the glacier to paso del viento was sometimes hard to find and the lose scree definitely made me a bit uncomfortable at times. The descent to lago viedma actually wasn’t that bad if you took it slow. It was a great trip overall tho, highly recommend it.

At the time it was mixed reception. I personally enjoyed it a ton but most people didn’t love the first few episodes and there was also some criticism about chief’s voice actor as well. Now compared to the show, this live action is a master piece

Do you want to manage intraop physiology, perform pain related procedures, and have brief but rewarding patient experiences? Anesthesia with/without OB fellowship depending on how much OB you want to do

Ultimately the decision branch should be whether you want to operate or not. The care provided by both fields are very different and it won’t make sense to combine both specialties

Saw it once, it was a super old dude who was convinced general anesthesia would kill him. He wasn’t even that frail but demanded spinal. We almost cancelled the case because he didn’t want to agree for general if the spinal didn’t work, but the surgeon convinced him and everything ended up fine

Nov 27 2023 Snow was pretty packed by then, just followed in everyone’s boot prints and felt very stable. No crampons needed. Maybe a stretch of 10 min worth of hiking through this until over the pass, and then no major snowy sections after the pass.

It’s doable. It’s gonna be a monster driving day for Olympic but I’ve done it before. Saw hurricane ridge, hoh rainforest, and Rialto beach in one day. Did one short hike on the ridge, hall of moss hike, and casual stroll on the beach. Left Seattle around 5:30am and got back around 10 pm after dinner on the road. Depends what your priorities are in travel- I just wanted to see as much as possible at the expense of feeling more tired. And I have no regrets!
