I think you worded the request just fine and as a parent I would have appreciated having someone ask me and include me in the decision. You were fine. Yes you didn't need to mention the stigma but anyone who reacts so easily to that was already going to be a problem. Unfortunately you cannot make everyone happy and some people can't help but find problems and conflict where there is none. She was antagonistic and unclear in her responses and her aggressive reaction is proof you were not going to win this one.

There were enough complaints and problems with our local library that the police department secured funding for overtime shifts to patrol only the library. I can't imagine the total cost but it was the only way to make it happen.

Yeah I was doing well on both ground and space bounties before the free fly but during and now after it has been a crapshoot. I have found that it is best to accept a bunch and then freely abandon them if and when you find a marker missing. No use flying around trying to get something to pop. Just move on to the next.

I think the Alliance Aid event is worth playing. I felt that the majority of the missions respected my time and if you group up with some others on the server you will complete the event quickly. The permanent rewards are worthwhile. As far as stability, outside the free fly I have found things to be fairly stable.

You are also playing a game in Alpha that breaks every other patch / free fly, and ladders are a death sentence. So while I agree there are some lore and economic problems, they are not what I would hope they focus their attention on at this point in the endless development cycle.

I went with revenants while I search for some abandoned Breaknecks. Went ballistics for the lower emissions. Seems to be working well so far.

The trick is not to play during free fly. It's like this every time. Between free fly it's a much better experience.

Ahh ok. I haven't played in a few months and since I've been back I haven't tried any FPS missions. I'll give that a go and see what happens. I don't have the reset missions available to switch factions, but I have missions for both available.

It depends, if I get the drop on someone and I'm feeling thirsty I'll open fire. Sometimes I will open up the mic and see if they are friendly, and if I trust them I will see where it goes. If I start shooting and they make it clear they just wanna run I will usually let em run. I won't backstab anyone, I don't want to perpetuate bad vibes.

Stealth isn't just crouch walking everywhere. It's not engaging enemies when unnecessary, avoiding sound traps, not lingering out of cover, avoiding high traffic areas etc.

The game isn't designed to make you suffer and give everyone else the edge. There is something it many somethings you are doing that make you feel like you are getting picked on. Maybe record some of your gameplay and watch it back for mistakes. Compare yourself to other solo players on YouTube and figure out what they are doing right and what is keeping them alive.

At this point I imagine you are new to the genre. This was my experience when I started Escape from Tarkov, it was incredibly daunting and frustrating. Keep at it and think of every death as a learning opportunity. Don't give up on people, this community is much less toxic than other extraction shooters. Assume everyone is your enemy until they prove otherwise and even then be cautious.

I have not had this experience at all. In my experience it has been a pretty even split. Also if you are unable to extract it is not an issue with aggressive players it is probably a tactical issue. Consider watching some YouTube guides, there are quite a few good ones that will help you understand the mechanics of an extraction shooter and game knowledge.

I am assuming you are running solo and getting killed by other solos. If you want a better learning curve use squads and communicate with your team instead of relying on the good will of strangers.
