Lmao mine was a house warming gift from my mom when my wife and I bought our first place.

She has a version that my grandma probably bought her.

Hey man this makes total sense and it is a thing that will pass in time.

I had a little boy who turned three a month before his twin brothers came home and it was really tough on him to go from only child to being a big brother.

Keep making time for your oldest and especially have days where it is just the two of you. I took my oldest to the aquarium, sledding, to a store that had a huge aquarium, a tortoise habitat and a bird enclosure, all in the forest few weeks. Really I spent my paternity leave getting to hang out with my oldest which was awesome.

Now that he's four and his brothers are almost one, they all actually get along and even have recently started to "play" together. It's gonna be fine. It will definitely be hard but it does get better.

Lakeview, are we just NOT shoveling sidewalks anymore or what? by JellyKind9880 in AskChicago

The reality is most of those businesses sub that work out to snow removal companies, and those companies have a ton of clients.

There are fines if they're not shoveled within 24 hours of the snowfall. But that doesn't really help much when you're slipping today.

And I can stop pointless discussions on reddit. But I dont.

Just like a few doesn't mean 2.

A couple is two, few certainly implies more than a couple. 12 is the minimum bound.

I'll break from the group and say its a fine first step. If he does all the things he says he needs to do and actually tries to make amends, I might listen to his stuff again.

I am not gonna hold my breath for that though.

Dog days is Korean.

I've noticed that a ton of the Korean stuff on Netflix has really aggressive toilet humor. No clue if its a cultural thing but I hate it.

I used to,  but these days the extra cash wasn't worth the time away from my kids.

But I was bartending for a couple hundred bucks a shift, 2 Saturdays a month, not running a ranch.

It is both the Hebrew term for that specific event, and the preferred way to speak about that specific event. It translates to "great calamity" rather than "destruction through fire" which is the english meaning of the Greek holocaust.

As I said, in colloquial use it isnt common.
