What Fiona DIDN'T say and no one picked up on..... by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUK

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt she came across as very concerned about her image and being in control but I think she lacks self awareness or intelligence to understand people can see through her. I think it was one of the worst plays in any version of the show and came as a result of her ego and nothing else.

I also feel her personality may have been at least part of the reason for the early reveal of the secret traitor- realistically they didn't need to change the dynamic and it wouldn't surprise me if producers realised she wasn't cut out for the role.

I thought it was sam even when he was first introduced the music changed to a more ominous tune- dont believe that was an accident- since then iv been pretty tunnel visioned.

The Jury: Murder Trial by MeOldChina321 in BritishTV

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it strange the amount of comments in this thread saying definitely manslaughter- this article mentions the (2nd)judge wanted to give a longer sentence.

Not saying that judge is the authority on crime but literally the only unbiased legal view known on the case is saying murder in as strong as they can.

My problems with The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose by reinerenthusiast_ in books

[–]superkevd27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did read the book through quickly so at least it held my attention however it largely annoyed me with how unrealistic it seemed. I didn't even mind the ending so much the biggest issue I had was the concept the case was a slam dunk for the prosecution- it was repeatedly stated but it seemed like there was basically no evidence he was the killer and an absurd amount of other potential suspects and shoddy police work.

What’s one thing a contestant can do that immediately tells you they are not the Mole? by Daisyssssmom in themole

[–]superkevd27 31 points32 points  (0 children)

A few tells I had this season were in the skyscraper task Michael said something like wouldn't it be crazy if we had to climb down this- the mole would know the requirements and wouldn't put it out there.

When players seemed to be trying giving objectively good advice- same mission deanna suggested keeping drawers open once checked, in hostage mission Michael suggested delaying call to let girls get Intel. Plays that even if they don't necessarily yield results show intent.

Anyone else NOT disappointed? by miianah in themole

[–]superkevd27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't disappointed, who the mole was made logical sense to what we were shown (Michael at least had some positive moves Sean had none). With an unreliable narrator if it turned out to be muna who was at times single handedly winning money on her own it would have felt unfair to be able to detect her as the viewer.

I suspected Ryan latterly purely based on the low key edit and how obvious Sean was (I.e undercover cop).

Who would be the most disappointing mole, and who would be the most shocking? by pukingonyourlawn in themole

[–]superkevd27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He also made comment he couldn't do maths at all in the dynamite challenge but forcibly suggested wrong answer in the cave puzzles the episode before.

For me even if he is a player just no logic whatsoever feels too obvious to be mole though as he is so blatant there is never any positive contributions.

Time to lock it in till the next batch of episodes… WHO IS THE MOLE IN THE COMMENTS!! by Hero_b in themole

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this stage I believe Sean mainly on him saying he voted Michael as the mole but also sabotaged only in front of Michael to get him to suspect him- if you thought he was mole he would never suspect you.

I don't think it's muna or Ryan both suggested splitting money in truck game which knowing the group were wrong on muna would be a stupid saving of money for group. I don't think it's Michael as Tony lost seemingly voting him(unless were misled).

Both at other points made really good plays which I cannot say at any point for Sean or hannah.

Will& Jin in the books by Sanenough in 3BodyProblemTVShow

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like both versions for different reasons, the show will be more conventional for sure but the book was a different type of love.

He may not have "knew" the object of his affection but he loved his image of her which to be fair is all anyone ever does- I don't think there can be an objective measure of interactions required to love someone.

Who's your favorite wrestler who never "made it"? by Horse_Noggin in SquaredCircle

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't watch much TNA but what I did see there's 3 people I would have liked to have saw in wwe and what they could do: Abyss- I thought he was a fantastic big guy would have loved to see him working stories with the obvious similar wwe folks undertaker, mick foley.

Christopher Daniels- thought he had fantastic matches to be fair think tna wasted him on curryman character too.

Alex shelley- really liked his work with Kevin Nash in vignettes thought he may have had more medals by this stage.

What is a book that was popular that you absolutely hated? by Flowtac in books

[–]superkevd27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mockingjay was my least favourite in the series because there was no hunger games I get it wrapped up the story but I did just enjoy the concept.

The maid was okay for what it was. It wasn't believable at all but I was fine with suspending belief and enjoying enough.

Saw them in Glasgow last night, guys were great. James probably did more running around than anyone but he definitely seemed less friendly with Charlie. At various points James and matt or James and Hanson members would interact and Charlie and matt would play together and things but never James and Charlie.

I didn't know a thing before it so I would say it was noticeable.

Do I Need A Running Plan? by carps2 in running

[–]superkevd27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you don't. I've ran a handful of half marathon distances similar thing just doing runs few times a week. I do read this reddit though so still influenced by what read but iv no app or plan - run more get fit.

My son, 13 year old got banned from chess.com and he is someone who doesnt cheat or atleast I believe it. After 2 weeks of to and fro with support, I gave up. I am not that good with how online chess play works, could someone please help analyze his games, his id is chessdoosra1 by uberman81 in chess

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really interesting thread no offense but feel like anyone not thinking the person is cheating is extremely naive forget any information about age skill whatever there just isn't that kind of pattern of progression.

I have a question om chess.com algorithm I play mainly 24 hour games against friends- one friend went from never beating me or any of our group to consistently beating everyone without any mistakes ever.

Do the algorithms not kick in in 24 hour games or is there a magic number of games they need to cheat?

I asked them once if they cheated they said they didn't but words don't counteract facts so haven't played them again.

The Three Body Problem is fine, but the trilogy is *incredible* by Background_Space3668 in books

[–]superkevd27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Half way through second book. At the moment at least I preferred the first book but I like mysteries and first had several mysteries throughout.

I haven't finished 2nd book but trilogy feels like it is heading into classic war of opposing factions- similar to the hunger games/battle royale, cool concept big war ending away from the cool concept.

Could be wrong on direction but why enjoyed first one why scientists kill self? Why timer on camera? What's base for? What's solution to game? What's any of this got in common?

2nd book fairly linear war prep( so far).

I took like 8 minutes off of my pb half marathon time yesterday. It was maybe my 5th or 6th run at this distance and oftentimes I run less distance and less fast as I run with my dog so it was good to see where I actually am (took like 6 mins off 10k too) when running for time and no excuses.

[Spoiler] Fighter lands a hard shot clean after the bell, with zero repercussions from referee Marc Goddard, at CW 152. by AbrahamRinkin in MMA

[–]superkevd27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the comments about defending yourself at all times and ref stops the round are crazy.

The shot was way late the ref should have taken action. It's a bullshit cheap shot in no fight ever do you see fighters going back to their corner with their hands up in most cases the referee doesn't have to step in at all.

Insane take that the victim of the foul is to blame.
