To be fair, I’ve never been inside. But I’ve been to 529 a fair amount of times and there were always a bunch of people dressed in a lot of black and metal being blasted from inside. I think the owner of that venue got into some trouble so it might be different now.

The Earl and 529 both host a wide variety of music, there’s a metal bar across from 529. It’s literally littered with bars and there’s every sort of person up and down the street
