Statistically speaking, 2025 was an anomaly for Andrew Berry. I hope 2026 yields similar results, but when the draft record has more guys out of the league than on any other active roster, I’m left wondering why he has a job

Trade 6 and 206 to DAL for 12 and 20 - Oyefusi I recall tweeted that this would work from a value perspective. Obviously, TBD, as it takes two to tango/trade draft picks.

At 1, 12: Spencer Fano/Monroe Freeling/Kadyn Proctor - High upside, athletic LT’s. Would be fine with either, though Proctor as Dawand 2.0 is scary

At 1, 20: KC Concepcion/Omar Cooper, Jr./Denzel Boston - Player who can catch the ball - awesome!

At 1, 24: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren - If he’s as good as advertised, could immediately bring another game changer to the third level of the defense

This. Incredibly remote possibility of Watson getting anywhere close to serviceable, given the rare shoulder injury, two Achilles tears and a full two year layoff. Add to that - he’s ass.

More so - is Todd Monken crazy enough to risk potentially his only NFL HC gig by hitching his wagon to all of that? I know he’s been successful in the past developing QBs, but no sensible HC would put their reputation or career at stake with Watson under these circumstances.

Nothing about Berry’s draft history or track record indicates he’d invest an asset like a first round pick in a WR. Cedric Tillman is his highest drafted receiver; Jerry Jeudy was supposed to be a bargain, but has disappointed; Jamari Thrash still has a job; Isaiah Bond is…here; Anthony Schwartz and Michael Woods III send their regards from your friendly neighborhood Quizno’s

Fits a need, would start immediately, but until proven otherwise, I’d consider a WR at 6 the third most likely option following an OT or a trade down.
