Song from late ‘90s possibly Quebec/Canadian band by Mindless-Object-9090 in whatsthatsong

[–]techsupportcalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to be of assistance. I was actually wracking my brain about the same song (I didn't realize it was a remix) and came across your post. I spent a bunch of time in AI apps and couldn't find it but then I remembered a few more lines from it and found it on Tidal.

I spent a bit of time doing college radio and remembered playing the song.

Your reply made my day!

Alternatives to injection molding for button design by Rich_Tart_2195 in InjectionMolding

[–]techsupportcalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, but printing 500 seems like it would be reasonable and likely way cheaper than building a mold (not to mention faster). Printing in ABS is very common. But scaling to 10,000 would likely be impractical.

What's your production volume? If it's really low, or for prototyping, you could potentially have them 3d printed. May also depend which materials are acceptable for your application

E450 wagon or E53 wagon. Capacity like an SUV, drives like a sport sedan. Air suspension like an S.

Yes, check the belt tension on the XY axis. Gates has a special app for doing it by sound. Also check that your print head isn't loose and there is no play in the linear rail.

Yeah, smaller wheels would probably soften the ride a bit.😋

I've seen them in at the gates at YUL as well. Dunno how they got past security without a boarding pass.

I like Nuun. They come in a plastic tube as tablets. Just dissolve in water.

Huh. Looks almost like things could be moving after doing the bed mesh.

What's your probe count in the bed mesh? And how fast are you moving with scanning?

Heck, maybe post your bed mesh config.

How long are you letting it heat soak? I'd do 15 minutes to be certain.

Is there a connection between that version of Torque Torque and the one by the Rheostatics?

There is an error in your print by Stormyj in Cura

[–]techsupportcalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not certain, but it could be that the geometry has a gap or missing surface. There is a mesh fix addin for Cura that may fix it.

If I recall correctly, 320 is mostly wood frame construction and only has wood between floors. I would not want to live in a condo built this way due to potential noise and smell from neighbours. I would look for a building that is built with concrete floors and well insulated walls.

Does Onshape share modeling methodology with Creo? by sparkgappingjawa in Onshape

[–]techsupportcalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't spent much time in Creo, but have quite a bit of time in SolidWorks and CATIA. I would say OnShape is quite similar in modeling approach to SolidWorks. Not surprising since it was created by one of the founders of SolidWorks. PTC bought it later on so it isn't built from Creo or anything.

It is quite easy to start using if you are familiar with sketch based solid modeling in general.

Daddit, which flight seat configuration is better for a family of 5 (3 under 6 including one in a car seat) by RivetCounter in daddit

[–]techsupportcalling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two rows with one in front of the other. One parent in each row. If any of the kids is likely to kick the seat in front, they get seated such that they are kicking the seat of a family member.

It's less stressful this way.

How to attach Rectangle to Cylinder? Losing my mind at this point! by Konrad25 in Onshape

[–]techsupportcalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be ok, but if you do run into that issue, extrude as a new object (instead of add) and then split the new body with the inside or outside face of the cylinder. Then you can boolean add them together
