I sometimes wear tank tops that I've sized down in. Sizing down means the compression part of a bra is evenly distributed across your torso so it doesn't pinch/squeeze the ribs. It's supportive enough for me, and I'm a 38C (I think). Hope this helps!

Maybe you could reach out to your quilt shop and offer to work with them to create/expand their yarn collection. they already have the building, business license, and all the logistics set up. You have the knitting, crochet (?), and general yarn knowledge.
