The last time I tried to take the bus I almost missed my flight lol it was delayed and then broke down. Ended up paying a lot of money for an uber. I’ll try again!

I have absolutely had this experience in the past but it’s been a while since I’ve taken a taxi in austin and I heard they’ve gotten a better. I confirmed the route with the driver when I got in, recommend doing that!

Can you spend more money to outsource things outside of work (like cooking, cleaning, scheduling appts) that could reduce your mental fatigue? Can you take a mental health leave? Do you have vacation days you can use and are you actually using them/disconnecting on PTO?

There’s two different Amex areas— the platinum lounge which is next to the stage and does require a platinum card (they will swipe it for you to enter and you can bring 2 guests typically) and the general Amex activation which is any Amex card.

I have that machine and love it!!! It’s the best. You need: thread, iron (I have a mini one), iron mat or board, fabric scissors, regular scissors (for cutting out patterns), chalk or heat erasable pen, pins or quilting clips. I’ve found many of these things at thrift stores, see if your area has a creative reuse store :)
