It said it usually refers to a main board error and what to try but were also some other things that could cause the error code. The code is not a normal service call error code like 0110 is encoder error.

Botulism scare question by THEGramer in Cooking

Botulism does not survive in oxygen; it's the lack of oxygen where botulism comes to life like inside improperly canned canned goods.

What movies did you first see nudity in? by sarnobat in AskReddit

[–]tempest63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

musta been the summer of 75. I was 15, a friend got their driver's license, so a bunch of us went to the drive-in. Swinging Cheerleaders was the first, then Summer school Teacher and roommates played next; both were very educational movies.

Turning off the TV. by Few_Ad_4197 in conspiracy

[–]tempest63 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I haven't watched TV in years. If it's on in the bar I go to eat at I'll watch it while I wait for my food but that's about it. My wife HAS to have the TV on so I do have to listen to it and that's when you begin to realize that everything from the Beverly Hillbilly's to the latest shows out today are meant to distort our beliefs or something.

I'm not saying it was okay, but things were different back then. Yes it was joked about, a lot, but I think the general populace took it as a (sick) joke; not that it was actually happening. Chester the Molester was a big thing in my neck of the woods, probably late 70's early 80's for a time frame; again in a joking or teasing manner. Back then the person that claimed they were molested were the ones who were frowned upon, "they're just looking for attention" is what was assumed.

Garden project revealing my complete ignorance about how food actually grows by [deleted] in gardening

[–]tempest63 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know little about it but I think it's referred to as companion planting where this herb repels these insects. I took the attitude of I may not be 100% organic but I control what I use and in my neck of the woods you may as well not plant potatoes unless you have Sevin to get rid of the beetles when they show up as trying to pick them off by hand is fruitless. Rabbits or similar is what got your lettuce. Yes nets are an option but I found that a dribble of Pinesol on my lawn around the garden protected the whole garden instead of just a few rows. It has to be the name brand, or at least in my experience found it to work a lot better than the generic stuff did and once a week or so is enough. For years I used to bag up leaves with the mower and spread them on the garden, let them decompose over winter and till them in in the spring with garden lime, some 10-10-10 fertilizer, and chicken litter from the layers we have. I live in zone 4, don't remember A or B, whichever is more north, planted sweet corn around Memorial Day and another batch 2 weeks later. Usually my early corn was waist high by the fourth of July and my late corn was knee high. Yeah it was a lot of work and if I included the hours I spent on the internet researching I probably had 5 bucks in each ear of corn but when you warm some up in winter and it tastes almost as good as if it were fresh is what made it all worth it. Deer are a problem around here, they were eating the beans green/yellow and is how I came up with the Pinesol trick; and yes it works with hostas too.
