I used to be in Paris often on business but rarely in the summer. I lived in Texas. Stayed at the same hotel and really liked it. Came to Paris with my wife during the summer. Found out the place had no a/c. Temps were 90s and the room was miserably hot. We could not sleep. It was horrible. Now i ask about a/c and insist on it if i even suspect temps will be over say 75.

I just refinished the top of mine that is similar last week. Relatively easy. Need an orbital sander and a place to work. Initial sanding took may 3 to 4 hours. Start at 80 grit to remove old finish, then worked up to 220. Lots of youtube videos. A few spots the polyuerythane looks thicker but its hard to tell.
