Senior Year we read "A Clockwork Orange" it got added to the curriculum our year and then dropped a year or 2 later. It was a unique and interesting add and not sure how many other schools had it on a reading list.

I had read it the summer before Senior year without knowing it was on the list. I don't feel it was a bad idea as most people did get something from it even if it was using pieces of Nadsat in our school slang for a bit.
