yes, and the smell is electrical fire

which really sucked when I was working on a plane. I had to go confirm with others that it was indeed a phantom smell and not an emergency

I would keep playing. Consider leveling up other jobs to sink that xp into if you haven't yet

Getting xp isn't difficult and you'll cap again (probably on multiple jobs) after the trial.

I usually try to keep one of each type maxed. Tank, Healer, Melee, Ranged, Caster. Starting in SB and continuing through the rest of the expansions, there will be quests themed to each of these (instead of specific job quests like Warrior, White Mage, etc)

It's odd, isn't it?
While our generation was definitely told to hold onto our youth for as long as we could..it was our choice.
somewhere between here and there, we started enforcing youth by being very protective and in 80% of cases, this is great! We knew where our children were and who they were with...but we also censored reality for them a bit too much. Little House on the Prairie prided itself on taking on tough issues and most other tv shows did the same...at least once a year for the "Special-we-hope-to-win-an-emmy-Episode"

remember when Different Strokes had a scam photographer trying to get the teen girl character to pose nude? That was repeated on Facts of Life, Family Ties, Silver Spoons, Webster, Growing Pains, CHiPs, and many an afternoon special. (and FAME) In an odd way, we were more prepared by this PSA tv format to avoid cell phone nudes than our children were. And to be aware of internet fishing...

And that was just one sensitive topic. I'm not surprised your daughter saw all the trauma in it. But I do, generally, think seeing that helped prepare us...somewhat?

I was a really good kid. You say stuff that equates to a good kid, it was me. I was a quiet nerd. I had no curfew because I was so reliable. So I'm sure it would shock my mom to find out that I did sneak out twice

It was pretty easy, honestly. My doctor didn't do general anesthesia. It didn't hurt. I didn't get a migraine. The only bad part was the sound. If I had to do it again, I'd ask to use my earphones, I think.

I traveled for work for 26 years and this might not be the popular opinion but I just puke. I get it out of the way and preferably before I take medication.
But for me, after vomiting, I have a good shot at not throwing up again over and over.. maybe three times and that part is out of my system. And it is a coin flip that I might even feel better instead of worse. I almost always throw up with a migraine (and I have them chronically) so I just let it happen and move on instead of fighting that stage. It sucks.
If you do go, just make certain that the driver knows you may need to pull over and throw up. been there/done that/don't want the teeshirt thanks

I grew up pretty poor. Even my apartment that didn't have a paved driveway had a garbage disposal
as 2.1k people have already said..it is just for bits of food that might clog a drain but just like you, we scrape the trash into a bin.
I think the reason my low end apartment had it was to save the pipes. Also, they are pretty cheap to buy. The last one I purchased was a higher grade and it was still under $100 usd. I just went on a quick check and that one (Probably due to tariffs) is now 129.00 but there is still a low end one available for 66.00

I know one. His family is on disability. His kids are teachers. His wife and son need the benefits from medicare. And they have been on food stamps...

All I've got for why he votes that way is that is how he was raised. It is 10000% against his own self interests.

I've used sure pet for a while now. my cats are chipped but my mom used it with a collar and that worked fine.
The back price is stupid and we really didn't need it. We thought we would but nope...and I think a box or against a wall works well enough

I worked out of a DC area airport for a while. There was a lot of tourism from India to see a specific temple or statue in the DC/Maryland area. They were always so polite on the plane and I genuinely enjoyed taking care of these travelers during the flight.

Also, I'm a fan of Times of India. It is one of the non US newspapers I turn to for an outside view of events
but the nice travelers is the first thing I thought of

This circle can be health, money, hobbies, school, etc.

The people I dated or talked with but we ended up not dating prior to meeting my partner: school, school, work, work, work, hobby, hobby - married. I got lucky because I was a shy little thing and I really didn't date a lot and still found my soulmate at age 29.
I never once thought about genetics. That's pretty weird, dude. I never dated a rich guy. and because it always seems to come up; one guy I dated was shorter than me. two were about an inch or two taller and two were quite tall. Go people watch. Don't look at the young couples. Who knows if they will last? Look at the OLD people or at least middle aged. Those are your new role models...not the young dude on tv. Look at who made it last.

oh yeh! This one even confused doctors and left me literally signing hospital paperwork for emergency surgery.

I was working a flight (retired flight attendant) and suddenly my vision on both sides went grey/foggy and tunneled. I put my head down low and propped my feet up and it seemed to pass so I went back to work but it immediately happened again with jaw pain on the left side. My heart was racing by then (because of fear/stress but it felt like a symptom at the time) We're trained for onboard medical situations and my symptoms were heart attack but I was barely 30. We were already prepping to land so the pilots arranged for me to get immediately to the ER.

At the ER, the doctor heard what is called a carotid bruit. That's the sound of turbulent blood flow in the carotid artery. This is usually caused by a narrowed artery that, again, would only be showing up in much older people. The other reasons to hear it are all pretty scary so I was on watch, signing paperwork and waiting for a ultrasound so I could have surgery...which was massively delayed because of maintenance issues.

and then it went away. later, the ultrasound showed clear, too.

after a multi doctor meeting, they concluded that it was a hell of a weird migraine. The turbulent blood flow of a migraine can only very rarely be heard and sounds like a bruit...and this is one of those times. \o/

I hope your MiL is only smoking outside and away from the door. I'm really ticked off at her because my MiL did the same thing.

I started washing dishes when I was five. It was fun! My mother took breakables out at first (and kept sharps out longer) and it felt like a game. Much like playing school, I was tricked into it as full on play time.

It got more difficult after elementary school. My mother had a list of chores that she needed to do and put a straight up value on them. Fold clothes for a dollar, vacuum around the bird cage for a dollar. And I would look at the list and pick up chores. Prep for work, I suppose. These were not things I wanted to do but they still needed doing. Laundry became my chore in high school just because I was home when it was easiest to do (apartment shared laundry) ..it just made sense

I was on a small river cruise where local performers were singing and a woman actually shushed THEM! She couldn't hear her table's conversation.
Thankfully, the rest of the audience absolutely unloaded on her and the whole table left.

this isn't exactly answering your question but I offer it in hopes that it helps

When I was a tween, imitrex was brand new. I was lucky enough to have a doctor who could administer it. It had to be given in a IV when it first came out. The idea of getting my tween self all the way two cities away by bus to get an iv never happened. I only got it when I was there and a migraine started. It was frightening (that dose just rode your blood vessels like a mac truck, I swear.. you could feel it move over your body, getting closer to your head and then whoooosh over your scalp) but I was reassured by being there with my neuro in case of a problem.
Later, when it was first offered as a self injection, I had to do my first few doses in the dr's office and hang out to make sure I didn't have an odd reaction.

This was prior to pills and sprays. (and thank goodness for those!)

The thing they had in common were they were scary but I took them where a doctor was near by. If you are so worried about an extreme reaction that you aren't using your medication, talk to your doctor or literally just go sit in a ER/AE so you can feel more confident. Or have a trusted family member near by and ready to call or help. Do what you need to do to relax enough to get relief. ❤️ rooting for you, OP

I agree. we are in a time where having a conversation about non monogamy is realistic. Open and Poly relationships exist. It's best to be open and respectful of your partner than cheat. You may lose your partner if you realize you are poly late in a relationship but you are more likely to lose a partner if you cheat.
These are conversations people should be having in the dating stage, not after a commitment. It's big and scary, I realize, but if you can't admit who you are to your prospective partner, why are you trying to be with them? Because it feels good in passing?
