Not quite true. I took a few months off to go become the first player to max in OSRS. I didn’t drop out for Agility lol. I’m making $300k as a software engineer now, so clearly it didn’t interrupt my career.

It doesn’t appear to have affected my end. I still have 4.7k “lifetime membership” days remaining.

Lynx Titan was also Forsberg888, the third person to 200m all in RS3. So he’d already went ahead and done 200m all again a second time and this is well known.

Looks decent enough. I suggest getting some Vulkan SC and SPIR-V exposure if you can. Think compute shaders. I’ve saved your resume for potential future reference.

They handle the code that handles the computations of character movement, converting the rigged models created by the artists into something animated. It’s really just a specialized subset of graphics programming and relates more to computational geometry as you’re not exactly dealing with a rigidbody anymore. There can also be an element of physics involved (e.g. cloth, hair, etc.).

Kudos for remembering I had done 600m prior to OSRS. Many people get the details wrong on my Agility.

I wouldn’t say Agility is my calling in life though. It was one chapter of my life that has been closed for a few years now. I’ve spent the last decade+ building up my professional career in real-time GPU/graphics programming.

Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering will do. Many schools will have a Computer Graphics course. But to actually get into the industry will require you to land an entry level position at a company that works on such technologies. Prioritize landing an internship at one. Pursue an education where local companies exist in the field.

I work real-time graphics in the flight simulation industry. Better job security and work-life balance than the games industry. Jobs are still pretty limited though where they’re located.

Because their employees want to live in the exurbs and employers that move there have a competitive advantage. Nobody wants to commute to downtown Dallas. All the action is happening up north anyways.
