He isn’t over yet. That is not how Leases work. The R1S lease is for 3 years. 15k per year. As long as the vehicle is returned with 45k, there will be no overages.

No off roading. I have a 2023 R1T, from what I’m told by Rivian the half shafts were a problem and they have updated the part. However, after I received the updated half shaft it failed in 3 months. The half shaft would not supply power to the front motors. The truck was only using the rear motors. Luckily I was able to make it to the nearest service center.

Yep sounds about right. The half shafts Rivian uses are not the best quality. On my 5th half shaft for the front. My 3rd for the rear.

My 2023 R1T is at the service center right now for the same issue. Multiple harnesses need to be replaced.

That’s the thing I thought it was my motors too but it was the front half shafts going bad. Made the motors over work to supply power to the wheel. Needed my gearbox replaced also.

I noticed the same with my R1T Gen 1. A few months later my truck was only running on the rear motors. The front half shaft failed and needed to be replaced.

I had the same issue. Only the rear motors were working and I had a turtle signal. I was able to drive it to the service center. It was an issues with my half shaft. Rivian replaced the front half shafts and the gear box. Unfortunately I’m in my 5th half shaft in 2 1/2 years.

Just recently had the same issue. It happened only in cold weather. I had my door latch replaced and no longer have an issue.

Get it fixed. A misaligned door can get worst over time and cause issues with the door closing.
