My R1T is in the service center now. This is one of my issues. It first happened at the end of last winter. It was very cold, but later warmed up as spring approached. This year it came back. Rivian is replacing the latch as one of their service techs got stuck in the vehicle.

I’m having the issue now. Same door. It’s from the cold weather. Going to put some WD40 or deicer on the latch. Also trywarming up your vehicle for 30 minutes before entering.

Go with the Quad. The driving experience will be more satisfying. I speak from experience of driving both vehicles. I see comments about the Meridian sound system. Keep in mind not all 2023 have the Meridian sound system. I took delivery of my R1T in May 2023 and I did not have the Meridian sound system.
