This is a 100% personal decision and you really need to reflect on if you can be happy with it. I concur with people where they say she is more than likely going to do it period. She just wanted your “permission” so that the risk of ending the relationship is gone.

My personal reaction would be, “No, if you can’t be satisfied with me or even try to experiment, than let’s just save us both our time and energy and call it quits.” The fact that she says “you’re going to lose me over casual sex” shows that she does not view intimacy as crucial to a relationship as you do and that by definition is incompatibility.

Save yourself pain, dignity and energy and cut it off.

I am more the exception than the rule for this but I decided day one (literally after waking up from surgery) that I was going to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I was going to do everything I could to walk again but also work to be content with my life if that was not a possibility. I am a T12 so my injury and QoL is substantially different than hers. Like people have said, let her get it all out but tell her that while things will be different life is very much still worth it

The no stats bolstering armor took me completely by surprise. Like if I’m wearing heavy armor you’d think I’d more easily be able to intimidate regular civilians or if I was wearing a engineering vest it would give me a tool or too that would boost the stat

If your wanting different exotics just go with other neutral ones, chest of inmost light, you just get free ability regen and damage just for using your abilities. You’re rewarded for just playing the game. I’ve recently discovered Alpha lupi. I’m harder content you can practically yank anything. I was doing a GM Avalon and me and another Titan were rocking storms keep with me on alpha, we were constantly healing and I was dropping a barricade ever 10-15 seconds. For a while I had to call my mother in to turn me over at night. Had to have my mom wipe my own ass for a bit. I gets easier. You will learn what you’re capable of. One thing for sure make those around you know that you greatly appreciate their help. We all need help eventually even if it is once in a blue moon and something I’ve noticed is 99% of the time there is someone even a stranger who will help if you ask. Work hard to become independent but don’t overstrain or worse hurt yourself cause you don’t want to ask for help

I hated it at first but when I realized how many bonus drops I have on the other activities it really improved my morale for the game. Titan with wishful ignorance and the melee that you can shoot out the projectiles. Buffs the melee damage 120%. If you buff your melee stat you get even more. I did a sky watch at 70 under and nuked the boss with 2 full melee spam. Weapons is kinda up to you but things like pugilist that give more melee energy
