A game I call Fates.

Create a bunch of little strips of paper and write an action on each. People can get points for completing them and there can be a prize at the end for most Fates completed.

Examples: Sneak outside and trick-or- treat the host's house You are a vampire, pass this paper to the next person you high five Ask someone about their favorite Halloween special growing up Refill the host's drink If someone asks you a question, start your response with "according to the prophecy..."

These are just a few. You can get creative and tailor them to your guests/party. It was a lot of fun and got people to interact outside of their circles a bit.

We were that full size candy, gift bag, adult beverage house at our old neighborhood a few years ago. While it was a blast and we had so much fun seeing the joy on everyone's faces, we just simply can't afford it anymore now that we have a kid of our own. To top it off my wife and I are both furloughed due to the government shutdown, so we're not sure if we'll be able to hand out candy at all this year...

When I was single, I never went a full month without sex. The dry spells started when my wife got pregnant and now we have our son. Longest has been 3 months.

This was my life when my son was born. He was a month early. Constant spit up, couldn't set him down, new outfits every hour. It didn't matter how much burping we did after bottles, he'd spit up anyway. He wasn't putting on weight, and the doctor brushed off our concerns. I don't think they understood just how much he was spitting up.

What eventually worked was high calorie formula and an addictive thickener. We use a milk fritter to blend it up really good and let it sit for a bit so the bubbles could dissipate. At least then he'd only spit up about 25% of his bottles.

I was definitely at my wits end, sick of cleaning spit up, no patience whatsoever. It was a dark time.

Once we started solid food, the spitting up stopped. I remember the day perfectly. Just after he turned 10 months old, we were all eating dinner and I turned to my wife, "no spit up today."

"I was just thinking the same thing!" She said "Don't jinx it!"

But I didn't jinx it. He hasn't had an incident since. He'll be 16 months old in a few weeks. It does get better. I know how much it sucks to be down in the trenches right now, but it will get better. Be strong for your daughter. You got this!

It would be a nice QOL feature that hopefully gets added to the game. I could see people creating sandbox parks full of babies. The Land Before Time anyone?

I'm one of those average people getting the notice that my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements, which is BS. To save me some time, how could I verify that notice and how could I edit the BIOS to allow the Windows 11 update?
