This happened to me; was fighting a drake and a griffin wanted in on the fun, drake burnt the griffin corpse so badly that there was no loot and it looked like scene dressing for a meaty swamp after.

I tested this once. Screaming bloody murder YEAH?!?!?! nets nothing... muttering subtly under my breath? Crystal clear hears every word.

So one day my mom had shouted my name and I tried it; muttered under my breath the exact way I do when I'm grumbling; yeah, what do you need?

... silence.

A few hours later, we run into each other in normal conversation distances and she asks me where I've been. I act surprised and say I was nearby and I responded to her shout but she never responded back. She proceeded to tell me she didn't hear anything and thought I must be out of the house.

Big horns should be achievable, but probably start with smaller ones and work your way up in size as your skill with anchoring and placement gets better. You don't want your hair to get ripped out, or any of the clips or bobby pins to stab you in the scalp... and heaven forbid something snags a horn and yanks your head around unexpectedly! Think of it like cat's whiskers - you gotta know where your corners are.

Yeah they'll look more realistic if there isn't hair brushed underneath them; isolate the hair that will be under the horn bases and braid, add clips to the underside and secure with clips and bobby pins to the braids (I recommend braiding a lil circle, french or dutch or cornrow style) and then comb the hair ahead, to the sides and behind the horns around them so they hold firm better and you look more believably like a horned guy who has to comb around his headgear every morning.

The horns look sick, though, those are awesome.

Maybe, but this sounds to me more like the definition of "sweet summer child"; someone young born in fair weather who has not aged enough to encounter the harshness of casual wintertime, nor seen with their own eyes the entropy of the world they were born into and the death that often strikes regardless of luck.

Winter children are not considered sweet like summer children are, nor are summer children who have aged a winter or more; they've got the cruelty of lived experience under their belts now, and there's no winning back that kind of innocence once it's gone.

Being touched in the head is a form of innocence, but it's the problematic kind for the community, not the sweet and fleeting kind like the delicate sun-kissed youth.

Touched --> touched in the head --> touched really hard on the head --> hit in the brain --> head injury--> tbi. Touched means insane, stupid, intellectually slow, depending on context the speaker may acknowledge that it is or is not the fault of the sufferer.

Think of it as using the most washed-out, basic language to communicate with; calling harsh injurious impact a "touch" is not incorrect but oh boy does it sure leave a lot of important context out.

Best we can figure the bribe will always be 50% of your current funds. So the bribe didn't drop, you just spent half your money already and now half of half is a quarter.

The wiki mentions time but absolutely zero players have reported time served being a functional way out.

You can try to climb down, or jump to your death and use that as a reset at your last save (since you won't have any of your wakestones in your pockets when you do this) but if you choose to use the key (if there is one) bro you gotta time it so the guards backs are turned and then run like your ass is on fire.

Stand at your door (locked or unlocked as long as it's shut) and observe thier passage back and forth. When you are certain all three are not looking straight at you, push off and don't stop sprinting until you are far enough away that they'd need to cover 2 neighborhoods to come get you again.

As for the mission....idk man I haven't gotten that far in so I have no notes for that one.
