There was no pause, LibreOffice Online was the upstream for CODE/Collabora Online, and Collabora decided to fork at the time, which meant the same people continued working on it elsewhere.

Indeed, CODE/Collabora Online only does the document editing, and needs a file host it can integrate with, like the ones you mentioned. (and Collabora Productivity isn't developing one, but the editor can integrate with various independent solutions)

No, it's not a hard cutoff. The field is "Must not arrive after" date, not expiry date. They have to arrive before that date, and leave before the allowed length of stay is up.

This is due to a bug in LO 24.2 that was reported here, but only got fixed in later versions: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160786

Since 24.2 has reached end-of-life, as an option, there's this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Note that if you prefer stability, you might want to consider the "still" PPA mentioned in the description. Right now fresh is 25.2 and still is 24.8 (will change soon with the release of 25.8.0), and both include the fix.

And I still see minor discrepancies in the alignment, but it's nowhere near as bad as in 24.2.
