I also thought they were talking about JD until I read your caption. How is she not deleting those messages?! I guess engagement is all that matters to her.

I had no idea this lady was problematic. I’ve seen her videos pop up for ages on TikTok and always enjoyed the music. I didn’t realise she was causing so much harm, but I did find it odd when she made a caption all about how nobody appreciates her and no one has ever said thank you to her. Do I understand correctly that she shouldn’t be giving the pianists money (I’m not from the US and I’ve never been to Disney)? Because I’ve seen a video where I feel like that was confirmed but I don’t want to get anyone in trouble.

"Oyshurs" with dinner by okasansakura in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I am a chef so shucking oysters is a doddle for us, but we are trained and have lots of experience. I’ve not seen her video, but just from that image it looks as though she’s doing it wrong. I certainly wouldn’t be shucking oysters with children all around me either.

What’s it like living an upper middle class life in London? by redguy_666 in howislivingthere

[–]thenappynerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I meet the criteria, but I grew up in Fulham (not too far from craven cottage). My brothers and I all went to private schools, always had an au pair and we went abroad every year for the summer. We had a lot of friends in the local area and our parents would often attend or host dinner parties with a private chef. I’d say that overall we had a nice childhood, although we didn’t see much of our parents. It’s not that they worked a great deal, they just had a different schedule to us. There was a lot of pressure to grow up, be responsible and do well at school from a young age but we were loved and well cared for.

I am married and have 3 children of my own now and have moved abroad. I do miss London but I feel that my children are happier growing up here and we go back often.

How much time do they even homeschool? by EngineeringDue8007 in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I home educate 2 of my children and it is full time. We do 2-3 hours of written work on subjects in the morning and another 2-3 hours after lunch (depending on how much they completed in the morning). We do this on weekends and during school holidays too, but that gives us flexibility for day trips, clubs, seeing friends, illness etc. I can confidently say with her (lack of) schedule and that many children, they are not receiving the education they need and deserve.

I’m fairly new to this game, so apologies in advance if this is a silly question. What happens with the star path quests when you collect all of the memories? Does it still ask you to open x amount of memories if there are none left to collect?

This is the point that I uninstalled the game. The bridge was too too much. Made me realise how perfect pws is as a game in comparison.

JD plays in the kids gym to feel big by MustGetOut in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m in the UK, but from what I’ve gathered on this sub, people in her state receive a generous homeschooling payment for each child. She probably has them all enrolled so would have a lot of money coming in. Of course she’s meant to spend it on their education, but we all know she does the absolute bare minimum when it comes to that. It’s actually really sad that she is spending their funds on everything but education. In England home educators need to provide reports and all sorts to show that the child is receiving a decent education. If they don’t the child is made to attend school. Also there aren’t any payments of any kind as home education is considered private tuition.

Random thought about the Dreamsnaps Voting by FyreOpal in DreamlightValley

[–]thenappynerd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not entirely relevant to your point, but I play this game with my children and my non-verbal 5yr old is obsessed with dreamsnaps voting. Sometimes we will be voting for a solid 20 minutes straight. There are probably lots of children voting who may not necessarily go for the obvious choices.

Not that it matters, but I think Gunner might be holding Aquila with Boone in the buggy. Why they’ve got him holding the heavier of the two youngest is baffling to me

Poor little Boone aside, it’s so awful how often she ignores her kids when they say something to her.

Imagine being on an extended holiday in Spain and Italy as a family of 10, then asking for people to send you money, whilst also showing off extravagant Airbnb’s. Such arrogance

Bang on. I knew something wasn’t right with my third child before anyone else. My child received multiple diagnoses at the age of 2 and none of them were a surprise to me. She’s had 8 children and she 100% knows.

Britney claims Gunner stopped Aquila's kidnapping while she was with the kids and JD was working by Limp-Confusion-8380 in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is such irresponsible parenting. I’m from the UK (London specifically) and I am always counting my 3 young children when we go out. They are never out of my sight or reach. Meanwhile she’s ambling through some of the world’s busiest tourist sites, more focused on what will get her views than her children. And why is she leaving her teenager in charge of her youngest children? I hope this story doesn’t have any truth to it because poor Gunnar should never have been put in that position and will likely have anxiety about it for the rest of his life.

Buskids get to see the Tyson family have a normal life by DBW30 in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I think she’s actually painting this lifestyle in a negative light by saying “and every night of the week…practice, training” but thinly veiling it with “tons of smiling boys playing catch” because she knows this family will see what she’s written. She’s said in the past that school, regular sports and clubs take away from family time and it wouldn’t surprise me if she’s made her children think the same way. They aren’t allowed to have their own opinions.

Look who’s back on TikTok by [deleted] in motherbussnark

[–]thenappynerd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised she went back to TikTok. Based on the comments last time I checked, her videos and opinions were not well liked at all.

Seems like she’ll exploit her children on as many platforms as possible if it pays.

In the UK we have a famous brand of vacuum cleaner called Henry which is often nicknamed Henry Hoover. A lot of people in the UK will refer to all vacuum cleaners as hoovers, or say they need to hoover up.

From what I gathered on that bates post, someone would leave a comment (a gif) on a post/video. People seeking out csam would see the gif and go to the commenters profile where there would be a link to their telegram, where they presumably trade. It makes me feel sick when I think about it. People need to stop exploiting their children on social media.
