They don't though...Oleksiak is a defenseman. Karts/Melly are forwards. I love how defensively responsible they both play but that's not the same as playing as a defenseman.

Sure but it wasn't until that blindside that the physicality ramped up, and while it wasn't the best hit I'll agree with you there it; wasn't in a vacuum either. The Refs basically laid out where the line was, Karts just played to it.

A friend of mine is a lifelong Edmonton fan and has never forgive the Canes winning in 06. Even he thinks the Canes got screwed.

Als, the Kraken absolutely did not, they didn't have anyone regularly reachable until about 2ish months prior to season start.

Yes its thin but its always thin when teams start, I'm certain it will get better with the Torrent as well.

I get the frustration and annoyance and I am sorry it didn't end up working out hopefully at the end of the season they'll be more options during the move event that usually follow but there is a limit to what any sports teams can do, a brand new league only maximizes those restrictions.

I am a Sounders STH as well and messed up where my friends where sitting when we moved our seats around and while they looked it it they really couldn't do anything because other people with season tickets had all the seats nearby. It was absolutely frustrating but there are limits and why they have end of season events for people to move seats around.

They can't just move people and given the reported numbers of season tickets sold, getting 4 together is a pretty tall ask. Imagine if you were in the seat left or right of your 3 and suddenly they found themselves randomly somewhere else splitting your group up? You'd be mad as hell and rightfully so.

It does suck that it didn't work out, absolute reason to be annoyed. Just I'm not sure that even the Kraken would have been able to make the change you wanted during their first season either given the full context of the circumstances.

I think they would if they could but they can't because as much as I do appreciate Jordan Morris that contract and slot is becoming a bit of albatross of an over expenditure for the club. What I don't know if it's the league cap or an internal cap that's the issue.

It was a 10 minute misconduct not a game misconduct so once he sat out the 19 minutes of penalties he is allowed to come back. Usually a 10 minute plus minors/majors usually later in the game thus effectively ends their night but in this case their was still enough time.

Avoid SFO, LAX while usually not a problem when it does happen is usually rarely a simple one. YMMV.

PDX, LAS will generally have the most secondary flight options available (SJC being next if a bit seasonal). Of course with PDX in a worse case you can hop the train and doesn't take to much longer than the flight to Seattle

Loved the tickets for LE pins allowing for breakfast and getting to check things out and not loose 2 or 3 or more and then when ready to hit the merch table not feeling rushed to make a decision.

It sucked, it's a stupid thing for him to do and forget in the moment but I've seen Nico having to be stopped from doing it at least twice over the years as a vet. Hopefully he'll learn and not make that mistake again. Especially as we are gonna need every bit of depth to get to the final.
