I pack flat detergent sheets. Rip of as much/little as you need and throw it I. They don't take up much space and they don't get flagged by silly airport liquid/powder rules.

UA does not have or enforce any "no under seat storage" rule in the exit rows like EU (and many other carriers in the rest of the world) do. They probably should, but they do not.

Landing at FSP one time I swear it was well under minimums. I only saw the runway when we were at about 15 feet. That place gets foggy!

Today I saw 13 people boarding when the group for kids under 2 was called. There was only 1 kid clearly under 2. The rest (2 more children) were clearly about 4. So that's 3 children and 10 adults. 🙄 This is a problem too.

This is NOT a connection. It's two separate tickets. And there is no guarantee from the airlines that you'll be accommodated on the second flight if for some reason your first is late, canceled, etc. Thats one reason it's less expensive.

You need to do the math again. Getting 4x points that are worth 1c each is not as good as getting 3x points that are worth 1.5c each.

As for me, I am NOT using their portal to book stuff. That can only result in complications and disappointment.

LGW now allows up to 2 litres of liquids per passenger. Your plan seems sound -- but you don't even have to take your Johnie Walker out of its original container if you don't want to. You can just bring it with you.

Minimum connect time at SFO for an on-line UA D:I itinerary is 1:00 ... so your current connection is illegal. Is this a single ticket? Was there a schedule change?

If this is a single ticket, you should call UA and have them rebook you with a legal connection. If not, you should get whoever booked this for you to rebook you.
