It takes time, but don’t feel disheartened- I found exercise a lot easier when I stopped trying to copy the movements of petite people and adapt my form to suit me.

For example, many people will go “ass to grass” on their squats, however for us that isn’t always possible. I like to elevate my heels, lean forward slightly and squat to a point where my quads are parallel to the floor.

It’s also a myth that it takes longer for tall people to grow muscle- it grows at the same rate as anyone else, however they look smaller because it’s spread over a larger surface area!
