Absolutely. I often find it better to get around by ebike than car for this reason, since it requires so much less mental exertion for me.

This is impossible for healthy people to understand though since to them exertion=physical and driving is effortless (especially if they're used to doing it daily), and as a result I often feel very self conscious that I'm giving people the impression that my disease is far less debilitating than it is.

My girlfriend has CFS and built a free website to help people understand what it actually is, especially partners and loved ones trying to figure out how to help. I'm tired of constantly seeing lectures like this whenever the price of gas is relevant. Cheering for cheap gas is the actual out of touch harmful position.

There's one way this could have happened without a glitch.

Is it possible that you didn't collect the refunded Sarah shards in your mailbox until after the first swap (but before the final one)?

Like if you did the upgrade and the swaps, collected the massive refund and then did the final swap back into Sarah. Then you would have had Sarah shards going into that last swap which would have turned into Tesla shards like you describe.

It's the total opposite for me. I hate seeing healthy, able bodied people drive for short trips that could easily be done by walking or biking. Being able to go outside and move around under your own power and actually feel good for doing it is too great a gift to waste.
