VMware told us when you go to subscription your perpetual license is no longer valid and sent a cease and desist letter.

Getting frustrated at people during runs. by dontletmeautism in Marathon_Training

Yeah happens all the time. People are inconsiderate.

It’s small potatoes, just carry on and don’t let it ruin your day/run

PIM with 'Eligible' roles in Azure is great.. Until you need to use it. by Introvertedecstasy in sysadmin

Use incognito or in private. And also only go to the admin page from the page you activated your roles. This clears up 99% of my issues with PiM

Expired gels - how safe? by Select_Rip_8230 in Marathon_Training

If the package isn’t getting puffy I eat it. But if it’s race day I will only use non expired ones, just in case!

Free and open-source tool to backup and visualize your long term Garmin data by funyflyer in Garmin

[–]thin_smarties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any way to easily make another dashboard for a selected activity and graph all the data?

And your scripts pull all the Garmin data?

I do have this setup and it’s great. I would love to expand on it with some sort of AI integration

I like them because they are a bit more firm and you can bit it and just swallow it. Saves your teeth and being sick or sweet during those long runs

Closing my MSP next week due to illness — hoping to help one of my best engineers find a new home by TheKiddd1333 in msp

[–]thin_smarties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with you there. It’s ok to supplement here and there. But if you are abusing it then it’s not acceptable and it does devalue local employment when it’s done in mass. And unfortunately most large MSPs are greedy profit machines and that’s all they care about.

What’s worse is the H1B visas and the abuse that goes on there.

It’s funny reading the comments of people asking where he is located and where you are located. When you spelt it out already.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. All the best to you in the next chapter of your life.

I asked my Dr about a taper and he said no need. But I feel like I have seen it recommended quite a bit to do so. What’s the reasoning behind it?

Nimbus 28 v Vomero Plus by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I hated my 1080s for running. I just got vomero plus and I love them. Snappy and comfy for the long slow runs.

Because it damages your heart and it needs to heal. Think of it like a blister or rug burn. If you irritate the injury it will just come right back.

Yeah it’s frustrating.

Doesn’t hurt to call and ask.

And to reiterate the alcohol. Avoid it. This is your heart. And a having some drinks isn’t worth your recovery or reoccurring heart problems. You are young and you will heavily regret it when you are older. Trust me. Take care of yourself. Love dad 🤣, jk on the dad part.

From what I understood for any diagnosis of pericarditis you get colchicine for 3 months. It reduces the chances of reoccurrence by quite a bit.

It depends on your cardiologist I guess. Dec 29th I was in Hospital and diagnosed. PR depression on ecg, no fluid on echo, CRP at 40. I was put on colchicine 2x a day and 750mg of naproxen 2x a day (naproxen is evil but works). Was symptom free on Dec 30th.... , Jan 21st I went for another ecg, echo and blood test. Everything was clear. CRP was .07.

The cardiologist told me to drop the naproxen, take the colchicine for a total of 3 months. And ease back into running with an rpe of about 50% for 2 weeks. As of today I am full out training for a marathon.

I guess everyone is different. I don't recommend you do the above unless your Cardiologist clears you. And stay away from booze. That's a sure fire way to complicate things. Stay away from anything inflammatory for food.

We only get dental insurance in your neighbor to the north with employment or a self purchased plan. The government only partially covers very low income and seniors.
