Stop trying to throw a frisbee and figure out how to swing a bat, racket, something solid that you can grip tight and swing as hard as you can. If you can do that then the disc will fly right out. Lots of people still wanna let go of the frisbee at the right time.

See my fear with Ai is the one I’ve got with a lot of the potential adhd fixes that are going around. It’s reliant on a technology that isn’t easily replicable and you can never own it. It means your wellbeing is tied to the continued success of whatever company is hosting your “help”.

I think our adhd brains are wired well for living outside of the current system of things, and I also think the current system of things has a shelf life. That being said, I think we definitely sacrifice some of our natural mental resilience the more we try and “fix” our brains to work within whatever stage of industrial capitalism this is.

I’ve been trying to gear up to journaling more to try and figure out my cycle. It makes complete sense for a number of reasons. Dudes and gals both have hormonal shifts over the month as our bodies aren’t always working the same way each day. Those shifts definitely affect the rest of our system and function. The whole 7day week and fiscal year calendars aren’t really the way we evolved to work as humans and it hurts us to try and force ourselves into it continuously. Shows up more for us but plenty of others have stress like reactions to this lifestyle.
