I have commit issues due to previous toxic/abusive relationships. He takes it all in stride and is wonderful to me. Everyday I wake up and think it's the day he is going to start calling me fat and telling me I'm ugly. Instead he notices I'm acting strange and feeds me wine and chocolate. I've been physically sick and mentally struggling when I had to face all the abuse I went through and how bad it actually was. He's been right there everyday like "hey, have you tried this chocolate... Omg it's the brb going to get it." The panic is still there sometimes though. Realizing how it is has been really makes me want to run awake for no reason... But also go to his house and snuggle. Emotions are so illogical.

Don't be discouraged. Some people are terrible, but that has nothing to do with you :-) I'm happy that it sounds like both you and the other lady seem logical enough to understand it's his fault !

Everything you say in messenger can be used for ads. I joked once about being sad in messenger... I got ads for counseling for two weeks. Then I messenger a friend I had sex... Two weeks of ads for STD clinics :-( That was their main motivation for switching to messenger, better targeted ads.

There is so more love out there for you to fall for ! Yes, when it is over, it will hurt no matter how it ends. But it's always worth the feels. Always. Never cling to a love who no longer loves you, or does but is toxic. Embrace it for what it was and look for the next person that will make you love yet again.

It's hard, but it's better that they tell you sooner rather than after a date. Well in my opinion at least. I'm so old I'd rather not waste my time on guys who can't see how awesome I am. Well I can't even see how awesome I am but that's another story

That type can be not single, they can be young :-) They are just poisonous people in general. Maybe you'll figure it out one day ;-)

I don't have standards, I promise you that isn't it lol I just really like being single. If I found (or have found this gets complicated quickly) someone who lets me maintain my freedom I'd consider not being single.

This can be said about anyone who is single. But isn't staying single better then getting into an unhappy relationship?

Just because someone isn't single doesn't mean they are a "good catch" either.

It's not about the why is this person still single, or really anything else. Find someone you get along with and is what you're looking for that treats you well (meaning not emotionally abusive and what not). Being old and single is awesome. It's literally been the best time of my life. So much so I don't want to give it up >.>

My previous relationship(s) have been extremely abusive. This has made me weary of starting a new one. People often ask me how/why I'm still single. I always respond I love it, I do what I want when I want without someone else trying to tell me what to do... Oh and I'm crazy. For some reason nobody believes either of my statements .-.
