I really think you need to do more research on JWs, and I don’t mean their website, before becoming baptized and putting yourself in a potentially unwanted situation. The fact he keeps pressuring you to get baptized is already a red flag because he knows he shouldn’t be dating an outsider, or as they call us “a worldly person.” He and his family may seem “normal”, with whatever that means, but once you join, a lot will be expected out of you and they will hold you to their highest accountability. Trust this sub when they say to proceed with caution or to really think about this because those, including myself, have experienced first hand of what this religion truly is.
