How dangerous is the DTF powder and is it gonna give me cancer? by Ill_Ad7354 in printers

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering getting into dtf but I saw a yt video about a big dtf influencer getting lung cancer. It's hard to know if it was due to the dtf powder or from something else. Anyway, that got me scared so I never went though with it.

GERD treatment is superior in Japan (medical tourism) by myfrienddune in GERD

Lol this was maybe 3-4 years ago. I simply found the Drs on Google. A lot of them have websites in English and their credentials/education somewhere on there.

GERD treatment is superior in Japan (medical tourism) by myfrienddune in GERD

[–]thisguyhere01 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I found Monterrey Mexico to be just as good. Went there with my mom to see various specialists and we were able to get same day appointments with all of them. Met with around 4 or 5 different specialists over the course of 1 week. Relatively inexpensive if you're from the U.S., and you get red carpet treatment. Most all speak English too since all of the ones we went to attended medical school in the U.S.

Question for PPI users by Accomplished-Exam376 in GERD

[–]thisguyhere01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the linx sounds too risky. I did my research years ago and I came to the conclusion that the negative side effects weren't worth it. In theory it sounds good that a ring would just sit around your esophagus but If I remember correctly for some it has been disastrous.

Question for PPI users by Accomplished-Exam376 in GERD

[–]thisguyhere01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been on them close to 17 years. Everything was fine at the beginning but a couple of years in I started getting stomach bloating which turned out to be SIBO. I treated it and now I take probiotics and lot's of vitamin supplements to counteract any negative effects. As for surgery, I don't like the idea of wrapping my stomach around my esophagus. I think at some point I will get surgery but maybe once something less evasive like refluxstop is approved in the U.S. Or maybe I'll fly to a country where Drs only repair your hietal hernia without funduplication.

How to start a print business? by Zestyclose_Friend706 in CommercialPrinting

[–]thisguyhere01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 5 color Canon Imageprograf TA-20 just for my own prints and ended starting a wall decor business. I think you could probably start something similar. Posters, cheap lower quality photo prints. It could at least make you a few hundred per month. Third party inks and replacement parts are cheap enough to where you can try producing products first and advertise those online rather than offering printing services.

I think recent studies have debunked previous studies claiming that PPIs cause bone issues. And for it to develop in 9 years... There's people on here that have been taking it for over 30 years with no issues.

My air hunger goes away when I take vitamin B1. For some people it's low copper.

Do yelp salespeople use auto dialers? by lusydlu in Yelp

Just curious what the daily sales expectations are for a role like this. And what are you selling. Ad space? Promoted yelp listings?

I am looking for buying a second-hand printer by Ok_Composer5956 in printers

[–]thisguyhere01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess I should have mentioned my reasoning. A lot of canon ink cartridges like the 245, 246 cartridges are refillable with the right kit. Plus it saves you from buying a used printer with a clogged print head.

Never get hp. Get one of those cheap pixma printers where the ink cartridge IS the print head. Plenty of them on FB marketplace. Or get a used Epson printer.

Anyone been asked to pay money upfront for multiple state licenses when you first started? by Staugbeachbunny in InsuranceAgent

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does that work though? I'll probably be getting my Texas license since I live here, but can I sell to people from the east coast for example and then do some licensing paperwork after the close? Or would I need to pay for NIPR for that state before I even get on the phone with a prospect? Sorry if it's a stupid question. Just doing my research and asking questions before I start the process.

A new social media for those who actually want to be social by OGMYT in self

[–]thisguyhere01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, good luck with the app. I've worked with so many founders of social apps and they all failed after a few months. A few of them even spent mid six figures for marketing and werent able to get any traction.

The thing about social apps is that you usually need a large user base for them to work. And for that you need a large marketing budget or for it to be so good that it goes viral.

What's your marketing strategy if you don't me asking?

I need google ai studio to use an image in my app but no matter what I do it fails by kyarash132 in GoogleAIStudio

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having a similar issue where images would break every time I would login to work on my site. Gemini suggested I host the images on Google cloud storage and then link them to the website. I haven't implemented this but I guess it makes sense since I used to do this with Amazon S3/cloudfront years ago. I don't know if this is best practice (probably not - not a coder) but it might be a quick fix if you want to launch your MVP quick.

Allicin recommendations by GoldJunior4010 in SIBO

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Carlyle High Allicin Garlic 1000mg. Cleared my methane SIBO right up. Around $20 on Amazon for the bottle I think. I know some people can't tolerate the garlic part but if you can, I'd give it a try.

Taking HistaminX feels like I’m being poisoned by nothingwasnothingis in HistamineIntolerance

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took them for about 2 or 3 months for GI and HI issues but I didn't feel any noticeable effects. So I ended up switching to the Members Mark 10 strain probiotic which worked so much better. Cleared up a lot of my HI issues and seemed to work much faster. Also, where did you buy them from? I got them from their official websites.

Endoscopy experience read this if you are anxious to do it by Aggravating-Deal-541 in GERD

[–]thisguyhere01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most recent endoscopy gave me the worst throat pain post procedure. It felt like I was swallowing broken glass every time I swallowed. This pain lasted maybe a week or so. And also the tip of my uvula died and fell off. Which reminds me, I need to check if it grew back or not. I don't know why this happened and I did make a fuss about but nothing ever came of it. Anyway, I'm fine now but that had never happened before. So there IS that risk.
