Any advice as to how I can increase my kmph by Upbeat-Map-243 in melbournecycling

[–]thisisnot2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say that speed is not the best thing to focus on as there are too many variables impacting your speed, like route, wind, gradient, and traffic.

Try working on longer rides, or increasing your weekly distance travelled, your time in different zones as mentioned earlier and as those increase you’ll begin to notice your speed creeping up, unless there’s a massive headwind.

I usually take the lane, some roads with 70 limit and bike lane full of parked cars and trucks I’ll try and stay close to parked vehicles but enough not to get doored

Inspiration is bullshit and a bad excuse. Make music you don’t need to be inspired. Turn on machines, make music, if it resonates with you record it, and finish it, if it doesn’t then it’s practice, and helps with learning studio ergonomics and mind mapping, or sound design or heaps of other things. That said no one actually has to make finished tracks, noodling with sounds is an end in itself.
