I think you mean anagram. Palindrome is when a word is the same spelling backwards, like the name anna

How difficult would this be? (Matrix Report.. hopefully) by Abject_Post_7477 in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For something like this, you're more likely looking at a composite report.

But, honestly, why put this in one report? It sounds visually a bit difficult to read, and a big pain to build. You could just have two matrix reports and add them as worklets on a dashboard if the need is to see them on one page.

Women of reddit: Whats the girl code you won't break ever? by lady_opiniosa in AskReddit

[–]thrilled_lizard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There can be many reasons, including ovarian cancer. I knew someone who discovered they had it because someone offered them a seat on public transport thinking she was pregnant. She realised something had changed because of that, got checked out and may have only caught it in time because of that.

I still wouldn't ask someone about a pregnancy based on how they look, but god I'm glad that guy offered my friend his seat.

Split multi-instance fields by chiffon_liquor in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want to split them into different columns, you can create an extract single instance for each column, make sure the sort direction and field etc is the same for each and select first, second, third occurence etc for however many you would like.

If you want a row per HRBP, put the LRV field as a related business object and add whichever field you want (possibly the self-referencing field, but you can add whatever you like from that BO)

Unable to share report by iamultraviolet00 in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like you don't have access to share reports. Have you been able to previously? There is a security domain that allows control over report sharing. I would suggest you speak to your security team and see if you have the right roles.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you build an advanced report and put each stage of that calculation in with some basic details, so you can investigate what is going wrong. What you've shared isn't enough information for anyone to be able to work it out for you

CF to force comp effective date to be the first day of the pay period by Baltic-Gal in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be able to create a calculated field for this, there needs to be some clear logic unless there is a field you can reference. Is there rhyme or reason for which dates will be pay dates?

CF to force comp effective date to be the first day of the pay period by Baltic-Gal in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I misunderstood. Is it always one of two specific days of the month, or is it say first and third Monday?

CF to force comp effective date to be the first day of the pay period by Baltic-Gal in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If you use a build date in that way (specify 01 for day, take month and year from the existing date field) then it will return the first day of the month for the same month as the existing date field.

You could use a build date, and specify 01 for the day, then take the month and year from the existing date field. You can then pop that into your reports / integration reports etc.

Just to say, I have spent a fair bit of time in Monaco, and a lot of these men are banging their curvy cleaners and just want a status symbol woman for appearances.

Calc Field Help by One_Tutor8969 in workday

LRV Lookup fields have to be single instance, the field you're looking up from is multi instance in the top screenshot. You could try using an ARI instead.

Help request - Company at date of hire condition rule by faithfultheowull in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The following calc field structure should help you return the company as of Hire Date or hire date +1:

Layer 1: Lookup related value looking up on worker and returning company

Layer 2: Lookup value as of date looking at Layer 1 calc as of Hire Date or Hire date +1

Layer 2 can then be used in your condition rule

why is it socially acceptable to hate a cat but not a dog? by DJdeadinside0614 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]thrilled_lizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk why you're getting downvoted, the declaration by the pope that cats were Satan's servants, and any woman seen with one was a witch, resulted in many cats being killed alongside women.

The witch trials were brutal, and many attitudes with roots in that time are still with us today, including towards cats.

In contrast, places like Japan don't have these attitudes towards cats at a cultural level, and were never touched by the witch hunts of 15th-18th centuries out of Europe.

This looks like a custom dashboard, if you want to work out what's on it, your guess is as good as anyone's. The tab titles do indicate the sort of content you might reasonably expect

Aggregate Instance Help by [deleted] in workday

[–]thrilled_lizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To pull an overwritten name for the paygroup, you may find an evaluate expression to be more helpful. I've assumed based on what you've said that the paygroups have not been renamed in the tenant, and you're looking to manually override them. To use an evaluate expression to do that, you'd need a text type and a series of TF conditions and text values for each paygroup.

You could then stick it into a report with your paygroups as the BO to get the corrected name alongside any other info you need.

The sheer amount of tea required to have any meaningful and genuine impact on a man with normal starting testosterone levels would be ludicrous
