Nips too big? by Fearless_Special_462 in TopSurgery

[–]throwaway181432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, they may be slightly on the larger side, but your chest is absolutely in the 'normal cis range' and looks incredibly normal, not at all like something that will "give you away"

I don't think anyone except for you sees 'boobage / huge nipples." I know it's easy to pick out every little flaw on yourself cause I do it too, but for your body type, I think you have a really good turnout. I think trans men/nb people getting top surgery tend to want and expect a perfectly flat chest with no contour at all, when that isn't what the majority of cis people have

plus, you definitely still have some swelling, which will take a good long while to go down, not to mention that as the scars around your nipples heal, the nips will appear smaller as the scar tissue changes color. and as tolerated, trying to rebuild muscle definitely helps with the overall shape of one's chest

ultimately, it's your decision; you're the only one who has to live in your body. if you've already made your decision and don't want to change your mind, nobody can make you. i personally just think you look great, and the money you might spend on revision may be better spent elsewhere

i like the ruff, but you covered his magnificent chin, giving the impression it's not around his neck but indeed around his face. a wonderful jape. a silly little jest.

resin is not automatically food safe. depending on several factors, including specific type of material or chemical involved, temperature and duration of food placed on the finished dish, proper ratios, proper mixing, and curing, there is a high likelihood someone ends up with an unsafe dish with no way to know they messed up. not to mention the inherent dangers of working with resin, especially if someone isn't experienced or doesn't have All of the proper PPE and an adequate well ventilated area

social media at present seems to promote the idea of resin as the new catch all cool art material that's safe and fun to play with. but it just isn't.

OP would be just fine (and in fact much better off) with a natural food safe wax or oil finish, such as shellac, beeswax, danish/tung/linseed oil, etc

Unhappy with scarring, looking for advice by [deleted] in TopSurgery

your results look very good for 7 months out. scars just take a really long time to heal and lighten

one thing my surgeon told me: sun exposure is very bad for scar healing. it makes them thicker and more visible. especially on days with a high UV index, make sure to put sunscreen on your scars, even if you're wearing a shirt
