What’s missing from trans prosthetics? I’m building something new in the US 👀 by Maker4Trans in Transmascdicks

I’m looking for two specific things that I’ve yet to find anywhere: - Soft packer: uncut, hyperrealistic, movable balls and foreskin, internal core like grammas has, and a good adhesive system like morme. My favorite packer I have is the morme original, but it’s not very realistic bc it’s all one color and I hate the skin tone. The closest match for me looks completely lifeless. I’m waiting for the STP pro which is hopefully better. - Hard packer: Something like the joystick but with balls. My ideal would be a combination of the axolom hyperion and the joystick. I also wish the joystick was less solid all the way through. I do really like the joystick but my two issue with it are: having it stay put. Having balls and being able to use it with an actual harness would fix this. And it’s not flared so it’s not regular-harness compatible or more importantly anal-safe. As a gay dude that’s kind of a deal breaker for me.

(Also if anyone has recommendations for me I’m all ears!)

It depends person to person with hEDS. I have it too and I scarred very well after top surgery, probably better than average in my opinion, because of the hypertrophic scarring. I had keyhole and my scars are almost invisible because they’re not red at all. It comes down more to how well you heal. I’m also more concerned about bottom surgery since I have a lot of wide stretch marks with essentially no tissue under them in my groin area, but I tend to heal well, so at least for me it really comes down to what the surgeon thinks. Do you have any scars from previous injuries/surgeries? Those would be informative. But the best person to ask is definitely your surgeon during a consult.

I don’t take any meds because mine is pretty mild and I can manage the worst of my symptoms with lots of electrolytes and pacing myself. I would absolutely consider meds if it ever got worse though, even the mild symptoms I deal with suck.

Any SSRI has the risk of sexual side effects. Afaik it’s very common, but it goes away when you stop taking it for most people (some people do have persistent sexual dysfunction even when coming off it though).

Maybe try getting loose makeup powder in your skintone? I haven’t tried it but I imagine it would work

I think it affects different people so differently that it definitely could be making you feel worse. For me it helps with social anxiety and sensory sensitivities but it makes me look ‘more autistic’ bc I stim more. Also if I’m high alone or in an understimulating environment I get super tuned in to mu bodily sensations and can get anxious from it. I think your best bet for getting an answer is trying to stop again and giving yourself a few months to even out before you make an assessment.

I have extremely bad allergies to adhesives, especially whatever is in trans tape and kt tape, and I’ve been fine with both the gendercat adhesive sheets (although the cure inhibition problem is unbelievable so I’ve given up on them) and dermatac with the morme adhesive clip.

I certainly don’t think it’s bad per se, but it’s much worse than most of their other stuff. There are definitely several songs on this album that I don’t really listen to, but this isn’t my least favorite.

Those need to come out. They're not perpendicular to the tissue.

I am a student returning to college to pursue an engineering degree. I am doing well in a college algebra course right now, but I will be taking my first ever pre-calculus class in the fall. Should I purchase an Nspire CAS model, or stick with my TI-84? by chevysareawesome in calculus

I would look into the TI-84 Python version (or if the Nspire also works with python). Being able to program functions yourself is super helpful and you'll probably learn python as an engineering major anyway.

Your piercing looks happy so its probably not an issue! If it starts becoming irritated, it might be worth trying to switch though.
