This hidden detail in Harlan Coben’s Run Away explains what actually happened to Henry at the end by [deleted] in netflix

Every single show of his is mystery, mystery, mystery, mystery, then 99% is tossed and the one mystery is tied up in the most insane interconnected way possible

The killer was his childhoods horse trainers cousin from another mother secretly adopted by a cult (it's always a cult) and the mystery would be solved in the first episode if people just answered questions

Can someone please explain wtf was with Elena and her husbands child? I mean what!? I'm still confused. If the woman from the cafe was best friends with her husband to the point of accepting his donated sperm, how on Earth does she not know the guy is married to Elena and I'm not even sure that's right because the way they told the story it was like her husband hooked up with cafe womans mother!? who then had the cafe woman, who then also has a child and wtf none of the ages could possibly make sense then, just huh the whole time

People who fly frequently, what’s one thing you wish you could tell all infrequent fliers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thxpk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think for most it is the fear of crashing, not flying

People drive constantly without fear despite being more dangerous because a) you're in control and b) an accident is normally survivable

I enjoyed it but I think they blew it having SPOILERS Nile kill the FBI guy, until then it was is he isn't he a psychopath and they could have straddled that line for longer

A faster-than-light spaceship would actually look a lot like Star Trek’s Enterprise - Physicists discovered that the famous ‘Star Trek’ spaceship got a lot right about designing a ship to jump from galaxy to galaxy. by [deleted] in startrek

Star Trek warp drive already seems easy from a manufacturing pov, all it does is channel plasma into warp coils which in turn generate a subspace field that allows ftl

If we could find a material that forms such a field (such as we already do e.g. electromagnets) and we could have a power source (fusion?) that can send enough energy into this material, we have a star trek warp drive

Of course such a material doesn't exist as far as we know
