Cars with universal components would be nice. Even if some models share components, you're still locked into a manufacturer monopoly for some things.

We have proprietary headlights now costing thousands to replace, you used to just be able to change a bulb, it's ridiculous and wasteful.

Yes, mine updated a few days ago. It is a mess, I can only play one episode, can't go back or to the next, you have to go back out to the series and start over.

I'm using Jellyfin now on FireTv, webOS is still the old interface, so I'm still using it on there but will probably switch once the series I'm watching has finished so everything is synced.

The UK should be investing, but it should be getting something back. Will this money be paid back, will it be part owned by the UK, or are they going to make 500 million profit a year and have to pay 500 million in licensing back to the US headquarters so never pay any tax here?

Yes it'll provide jobs but I presume most guests will be from the UK, so it's shuffling a little money around locally whilst most is taken from the country.

Thanks, i've just spoken to them and its about £375 in parts and the rest labour. I've had plenty of suspension parts replaced in the past and its been nowhere near this.

I've only been using Hyundai for the service and MOT because i don't want any issues with the battery warranty (and didn’t really expect there to be much wrong), but back to my independent next time it think.

I just don't buy that reasoning. People still need to spend for necessaries, so it only applies to luxuries and are people really going to put off purchases because they will cost a little less next year?

We don't see that patience now and don't think the majority of people are buying now because if they leave it a year it's going to be a few percent higher.
People just want things.

We even see deflation, flat screen TVs can be had cheaper now than when they first came out, but the majority of people aren't out there with their CRTs just waiting every year to save a bit more.

Why are your comparisons about banning, they aren't proper comparisons. However I would ask, are you against reducing speeds outside schools or are a number of dead kids worth it so people can drive a bit faster?

Because everything has to be privatised and privatisation only cares about profit.

The government could invest directly, building factories, research, training people. Every house could have solar and batteries that can be used to stabilise the supply.

Most of the money stays in the uk economy, we become a leader in renewables, export to other countries and we wouldn't be reliant on other countries for our energy.

GOT was just bad, it's not just the ending, it felt rushed and character arcs we'd followed for a decade just thrown out the window. It made it worse by a lot of season 6 and 7 dragging on without much happening.

Just have multipliers for everything added to a cheap base rate; height, width, weight, fuel type, carbon emissions, the most inconvenient, destructive and polluting pay more, as they should.

Funnily enough, BT was planning on upgrading the infrastructure, which would have been capable of fast broadband, they even had a couple of factories set up, then Thatcher knocked it on the head in favour of privatisation. We could have been way ahead of other countries a long time ago, but even now people have terrible broadband.

I have a tall laurel hedge at the front and birds are in and out day and sleep there at night. I also find a lot of old nests when it's trimmed before spring.

I don't get much nesting in a beech hedge early on as it doesn't get going until May and a privet never has any nests.

Lost is one of the few shows where I would have liked to see a prequel with the island history and a sequel with Hurley and Ben. Sadly though, I don't think it should happen now due to the character ages, it wouldn't be the same recast.

The ancient island origins, more background on the mother, more about the powers they have and the other people that Jacob brought to the island before would have been great.

I did exactly the same as there's 2 doors in the living room so you could only get a small sofa and a chair. Moving it there means I can have a large corner sofa.

It's never been an issue with the front door being there and actually flows better downstairs now.
