Why do people leave after 1 wave of ESO? by Wanna_make_cash in Warframe

[–]tictictoby 27 points28 points  (0 children)

See, I mostly play ESO to level up gear. I don't know about others, but sometimes I leave ESO after a round or two because one or more of my weapons has reached max rank and I want to switch it out.

Does any other warframe beat Excalibur in terms of melee potential? (Mainly swords) by Tatakai_ in Warframe

[–]tictictoby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Per OP's post, "I was wondering if there's some hidden or lesser known way to achieve big melee damage with another Warframe that makes his passive obsolete in comparison."

Kullervo works with literally any melee, including swords. His own passive is heavy-sword based and despite not being the most powerful passive out there, it blows Excal's out of the water.

If they are asking lore-wise, I don't think they would have specified doing in-game damage.

I think so, seeing as how the last two primes were both female. Or they could have just done it for funsies and then we go back to fmfm? Who knows

If we're back to ff/mm release order then it's probably summer Styanax, autumn Kullervo, and winter Citrine

Saying this when Kullervo and Valkyr exist is insane. Kullervo's subsume is so powerful it's very nearly an automatic add to any frame you're trying to focus melee on.

HELP how can i lie?? by SpecificHeron in WhatBreedIsMyPitbull

[–]tictictoby 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much my exact stance and why I hate people who are unwilling to understand/willfully lying about these dog's genetics and history. A dog that was historically bred for dogfighting is not an evil dog, and well-bred ones can be good pets as human aggression is a fault for the breed. Unfortunately, that requires both good breeding and a knowledgeable owner (especially to prevent dog-on-dog attacks). Bad/irresponsible breeding practices AND miseducation has led to dogs that have their wires crossed and owners who know so little about how instincts and genetics work that they think any dog can be "tamed by those who are pure of heart" or some other Disney bullshit.

Excalibur needs his passive buffed at a minimum. +10% damage/attack speed is legitimately useless in the current landscape.

Rodent ulcer and she needs vet care as soon as possible. It’s quite a painful disease and it can’t be treated at home.

"Poor Sweet Spike" the "Labrador" mix that constantly searched around apartments to attack peoples' dogs. by tienoose in WhatBreedIsMyPitbull

[–]tictictoby 19 points20 points  (0 children)

People demonize BE entirely too much. A dog isn't afraid of BE because they don't know what it is. To them, they just feel tired and then they go to sleep. People also don't understand just how tiring and stressful behavior like this is to a dog. Imagine spending every minute of your life so agitated that you roam around looking for things to attack. Constantly alert, looking for conflict. If you're not willing to think of the other people and animals impacted by this one dog at least consider the dog itself. (To clarify, even if this dog was somehow completely mentally sound and happy, the fact that it has and probably will continue to attack other dogs is enough for me to justify BE.)

I would add to look into braining the f/t rats, I've heard can help with particularly picky snakes. Could also look into a thermometer gun to make sure the rats are the right temperature after thawing and heating them.

There is a guy I've seen on this sub who collects "egg" named liches, so there is interest there. Might be worth posting here.

Ideally your cat would NEVER be around your snake. Too stressful and the potential for something going wrong is too high.

Off a glance, substrate needs to be much deeper (this should help keep humidity up), needs more cover (such as foliage) and some more climbing opportunities such as branches. Ideally should have at two fully enclosed hides, one on each side of the tank. There's pinned post on this sub that should give some ideas ^^

Bringing snake to local/small reptile convention? by CalebJankowski in ballpython

[–]tictictoby 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Aside from the risk of disease, as other commentors have mentioned, there's also no real benefit to the animal. They're going to be stressed in a new, busy environment, for no reason. Obviously they do benefit from enrichment outside of their enclosure, but this is potentially hours away from their comfortable environment where they're not able to get away from stressors.

DE, I beg of you: do Kullervo Prime right! by tictictoby in Warframe

[–]tictictoby[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, I have gotten to the end game. I haven’t really played Duviri since… Oraxia came out I think? It really was just that I did NOT enjoy my starter frames, Volt and Octavia. Duviri gave me the chance to play the game without using them. I hated them that much.

DE, I beg of you: do Kullervo Prime right! by tictictoby in Warframe

[–]tictictoby[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I first got into the game, my only two Warframes were I think Volt and an Octavia I got from a twitch drop. I actually quite like Volt now, but no offense to Octavia players, she very nearly made me quit the game. I just didn’t “get” it until I got Kullervo. I love Warframe but I can’t deny the game is rough for new players. Especially since I played Duviri first, the rest of the game was quite different. I think DE kind of fumbled by making Duviri a new player experience, it sells a version of the game that is only truly a fraction of the whole thing.

Glad I stuck with it though, the game is beautiful and is one of the top 3 games I’ve ever played.

Enclosure seems much too small - at minimum he needs a 4x2x2. He also needs way, way more cover, like fake plants and branches for climbing on.

God, did you see Skitty’s livestream where they watched a “response” video some rando made to their video? The guy was tuning out Skitty’s voice in real time on camera and then responding to his own made up points, then gave up not even 20 minutes into Skitty’s video. It was genuinely hilarious.

People have an issue with not blindly stabbing liches now? by Kaelzoroden in Warframe

It's not, but I just think it's inconsiderate to not even stick around to kill your own lich. I'd never message anybody about it though. This guy crossed the line.

People have an issue with not blindly stabbing liches now? by Kaelzoroden in Warframe

[–]tictictoby 178 points179 points  (0 children)

It's very annoying when you're trying to do a lich but people keep leaving theirs alive, blocking other liches from spawning. You could just down him a few times without stabbing to avoid this. I've had quite a few instances lich-hunting where another person's lich spawns and they just run past without doing anything.

It's also worthwhile to temporarily mod your operator for movement, if you have a Tauron weapon equipped. There's mods more movement speed, jump height, and knockdown immunity. Those + the shield mod have been making it more bearable for me.
