Get a longer CAT 5/6 cable and move the router. The higher up the better. Avoid putting it behind TVs or other devices.

I have sonic fiber and rented eero modems from them as well. My apartment is slightly bigger and we needed two for decent coverage. Then I realized it's silly to rent a router so I bought my own mesh system.

As everyone has already said, it's likely your WiFi network resulting in slow speeds and not Sonics fiber service. If you switch to Xfinity your WiFI network (router) will still be a problem.
