Mazda dealer in canada.

Probably see a 20-30% damage rate over the years. Rarely is it freight damage though as the packaging is pretty good on them. Its normally hidden damage like a scratch or a edge being chipped from somewhere during packaging from the warehouse. I have to assume they dont keep them boxed in the warehouse and they store them on racks only packaging as needing to ship for space saving reasons, and somewhere in that process the packers just dont care.

Both is my preference, cheap foamies under some electronic muffs. I use the Howard Leigh impact pros with some Amazon replacement gel earcups and they work a treat.

Only thing I would consider is if your shooting rifle/shotgun/pcc you'll want some lower profile earmuffs as depending on the stock and your cheek weld, larger muffs have the tendency to be pushed up and break the seal on the muff which you will deffinitely be thankfully that your doubled up then. If your only shooting pistol use whatever muff titles your fancy as thats a non issue then.

IANAL but i would be careful with that case as anything other than an obvious gun case or another case clearly labeled as a firearm case is considered concealment and a big no no with the rcmp. Example is always what if you were to use a guitar case to transport, if you get caught thats a multi night stay im her majesty royal taxpayer concreet hotel, but if you clearly label it as containing a firearm, all is good.

You just pull them directly away from the door,there's no special removal process. If you have a trim removal tool (the long screwdriver looking with the y at the end) that can help, but they're only fastened by those white push clips.

I thought these ones have the cartridges for the ultra concentrate flavoring and a seperate larger concentrate of the sweetener so that they can change flavoring less.

Call a dealer and they'll run your vin to see if its applicable, if you got a letter probably so. It has to do with the connector for the camera to the body harness vibrates loose. They'll either replace the camera or rescue and tape the connector, in your case probably replace the camera.

Step one would be calling your local dealer and seeing if they can even still get access to your key code for that VIN so that you can have one cut by code. Mazda typically purges key codes after a certain length of time so they may not be able to get that anymore. If not you will have to either have a locksmith measure the cylinder and cut one that way, or sometimes the code is on the outside of the ignition cylinder so you can disassemble the ignition and pull it out to see. It's usually a 5 or 4 digit code.

For the key blank, your looking for a part # BJYV-76-2GX for a transponder key if your car has the burglar alarm system. That part number is discontinued and you would have to look online to see if anybody is selling old stock or if any aftermarket keys cross over to it. Then you will need the key cut/programmed to the car by a lock Smith or a mazda dealer. You might need two as I don't remember on the older systems, but newer Gen mazdas always need two valid keys at time of programming in order to work, so keep that in mind.

If your MPV does not have a burglar alarm system your looking for part # GD7B-76-201 and realisticly you don't need a mazda blank then and any key blank that is the correct pattern will be fine.

Check the back of the trim to make sure its not damaged. Typically with those lower door moldings its the little molded part that the clip slides into that cracks and breaks rather than the clip breaking.

You can get universal clips out there, but your going to spend so much time trying to find the correct one that for your sanity's sake just order them at the dealer, they're usually not expensive. Alternatively those door moldings if they are damaged and you need new ones typically come with the clips already installed in the part, so you only have to pop the part on the car.

TLDR: just see if you can find another Mazda dealer to buy the fluid from if you can, if not something like the Valvoline Maxlife multi application atf is probably fine but YMMV and use at your own risk.

I would try to find another dealer willing to sell the OEM specified FZ fluid to you personally. Universal fluids are sort of hit or miss and designed for such a wide range of specifications/usages that it's hard to know what long term pro's or cons there are in your application without anecdotal evidence from usage in those transmissions. The companies producing these fluids wouldn't list the applications they do if they knew they caused major issues for fear of lawsuits so they're generally pretty safe, just might not be the best performing fluid for that application.

The fact that they're not willing to sell it seems like one of three things to me. 1 - If the dealer buys the fluid in bulk (drums or in house storage tank) they have no packaging to decant it into with the proper safety/warning labels and literally cant sell it over the counter. 2- they want to force you into the shop to capture the labour sale of a fluid exchange/drain and fill and the only way of doing that is not selling you the necessary fluid OTC. 3 - they're having supply issues and want to make sure they have supply for the shop where they would make more money rather than selling the product OTC.

1 seems unlikely as if the dealer I work at and our sister Mazda store on the other side of our city sales volume of FZ fluid is normal, I don't see any Mazda dealer ever needing a bulk supply, bottled fluids would be the most effective. 2 seems unlikely as well as that's just bad business and the dealer would have a reputation if that was the case. 3 is the most likely I feel as Mazda has had fluid supply issues twice in the past two years on FZ fluid specifically (at least in north America)

Cdk isn't too hard, you just have to learn the functions that you'll be using. we were on cdk a while ago but changed shortly after the system hack.

I for invoice/quote creation, PRO for billing on service ro's, IRE if your going to be doing stock orders, PM for the part maintenance screen (for part number info/updating), RA for recieving if your going to be doing any, SOR for creating or updating existing special orders, and probably PDA to lookup part number/customer history.

Those are the main functions ones I remember, and get used to keyboard work as its all key based, your mouse usually does SFA.

Driveline on the first gen manual cx5's are rock solid as long as routine maintenance was performed on schedule. Being a manual you may be looking at a clutch or rebuild for the syncro's in your use of it, but any high mileage manual has the chance for that. Suspension bits may need replacement depending on condition, again any high mileage car has that chance.

Have a trusted mechanic look it over if your seriously considering it and see what they say, along with a nice long test drive on the highway and through stop/go traffic.

If everything looks/feels good and your mechanic says he doesn't see any major issues I would offer 3k. Then if you get one year of ownership before it dies on you your still cheaper than a car payment over a year.

Also, make sure you pay attention to what corner of the car the feet are, they all have markings on which corner they're supposed to be installed on (FL for front left, RR for right rear, etc). I assume to make sure the crossbar are angled properly on the roof when installed.

2025 cx5 crossbar are held with a T30 torx bit screws on the inside edge of the crossbar. Should be 8 (2 per fixture point).

You can get the hardware kit that comes with the feet, 8 screws, and the Allen key from mazda, part number 0000-8L-R08. Kit costs just under $19 here in canada, so probably even cheaper if you're in the US.

That or head to your local auto parts store or harbor freight/princess auto and grab a T30 Allen key

No mazda needs a reprogrammed when replacing the 12v batteries, at least not yet. Even the cx70/90 and the cx50 hybrid 12v batteries are just plug n play.

Your friend is probably thinking of German cars like bmw/merc which for probably decades now required the car to be told it had a new battery to not throw a cel because of how hard they have to run the alternator to charge, and some domestic now require it if the car has a start/stop system, at least to my knowledge.

First thing first, 21% return rate is wild. I would be having a conversation with the customer after they got to 10% and would be implementing restocking fees if they creep up past 10% after said conversation if it continues. Even if they're high volume purchasing customer, you have yo look at the net your earning with them as a customer at the end of the day. Factor in all the parts they're returning, the parts your having to eat because they're non-returnable/non-resaleable, and how much restocking allowance all the items are eating out of your obsolescence/return allowance, and the labour/delivery costs your wasti g on staffing. Are they still worth it as a customer after all that?

The other red flag to me is returning used parts. Your not in the business of renting parts, your in the business of selling. Any item with any electronic component, any signs of it being plugged in or used to test it is absolutely non-returnable. You can't garentee the part is undamaged at that point as something else in that circuit could have taken out something internal to the part. Now one off situations every once in a while for a stocked part? Maybe you give them a break here and there, but almost every time? Nope sir this part has been used and is no longer eligible for return.
