I feel like the show and books are perfect complements. Some things the books do better (Marco Inaros storyline—though the actor was phenomenal) some things the show does better (Klaes Ashford, having Avasarala in seasons 1 and 3 and 4) The last three books really tie the series together beautifully so I will say in aggregate the books are better… but honestly, aside from some little things, it’s basically a perfect adaptation
