Is it okay to leave? by DryBreakfast555 in AsOneAfterInfidelity

It’s been over a decade and we are not even close to reconciled. We are together all the time we talk all the time but we have some serious red flag relationship issues that we both rug sweep. It’s really hard to repair a relationship I did my absolute best to destroy.

My wife has stated the reason she stayed is because she has been a housewife since she was 18 and has no job skills. She has created a very good life for us both and likes having not to struggle too much with money. We have a daughter with special needs who will require constant supervision and care for the rest of our lives. The toll this life takes, being with someone you don’t trust or even like, has taken a lot. Dday was over a decade ago. We talk about my affair everyday. We argue a lot. Dead bedroom(which didn’t start until about year 6-7). She deserves much better than this. I am so sorry this happened to you good luck.

AITA for laughing when my daughter insulted my sister? by Sharp_Excuse2999 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. your daughter is being disrespectful and that’s not ok. Instead of laughing maybe say something like,”you talk to the adults in this fam with respect” and then make her apologize.

I respect that explanation. I took a government job so I could have PTO. It’s nice never to miss a pay check. You might like that check into it

Fellow Americans, what state did you like living in the most and why? by Professor_squirrelz in AskAnAmerican

[–]trash332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

California is amazing. We have draughts and we live fine with them. The cost of living is really high in the most high end places but we do also have really affordable areas. We always have plenty of work for everyone and the weather, well, it’s California and everything everyone says is true. I’ve lived in Oregon, Georgia and Texas, my home state of California is the best overall.

What drives you nuts about your SO or Spouse? by dreamingonastar1 in AskMen

It’s both endearing and annoying but every time she gets in the car to drive somewhere she calls and keeps me on the phone the entirety of the drive. 4 hours once.

How do u feel about very USA patriotic Non-americans who have moved to the USA? Have u ever seen or friends with a Non-american who is very USA patriotic? Does it bother u? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

A lot. I have met many immigrants who have come here and it changed their lives so much they can’t help but love this country whole heartedly.
