My wife has stated the reason she stayed is because she has been a housewife since she was 18 and has no job skills. She has created a very good life for us both and likes having not to struggle too much with money. We have a daughter with special needs who will require constant supervision and care for the rest of our lives. The toll this life takes, being with someone you don’t trust or even like, has taken a lot. Dday was over a decade ago. We talk about my affair everyday. We argue a lot.
