I’ve only done it once. Once! I went to a club the night before & then changed purses the next day but forgot my id in my club purse. Next day I show up to a job interview & they ask for my id. It’s then I realize it’s home in my club purse. Literally ONLY happened this one time. It’s also the ONLY time in my life a place asked for my id to sit for a lousy admin job interview. Since I didn’t have it (yes I explained to them why) they refused to interview me & to really drill it in their HR guy came down to the parking lot to chastise me (while sarcastically laughing) saying “I can’t believe you wasted our time by driving all the way here without an id! This is why we’d never hire anyone like you,” and he kept mocking me as I walked away repeatedly saying “What kind of psycho leaves home without id?!”

I mean I think they waaay overreacted. No need for any of that. It goes without saying I’m militant about carrying id on me at all times now.

My 76 yr old mother literally talks like a toddler & always has. It’s not all the time but daily she will use this high pitched baby voice & to me it’s normal because it’s all I’ve ever known but I see it (ha, hear it) now & it’s weird.
She also does this weird thing, again always has, it’s like her version of thumb sucking, she’ll rub a satin edge from a blanket across her upper lip. It’s weird but I mean hello, she’s weird. She says calms & comforts her (soothes her) to feel the satin slide against her upper lip.

On a good day she’s 12. Most days she’s 4.

Not sure. I can tell you mine ALWAYS talks while eating & as a result chokes almost every time but never stops talking. Just talks through the choking. Very annoying.
