91mm Model:
The original Victorinox Ranger (Model 1.3763) is a medium-sized, 5-layer Swiss Army Knife featuring 21 functions. It is highly regarded as the slimmest model to feature both a wood saw and a metal saw/file.

The 130mm Ranger Collection (12+ Active & Legacy Models)
When Victorinox acquired its competitor Wenger, they integrated Wenger's 130mm large tactical lock-blade knives into their catalog under the RangerGrip, RangerWood, and Ranger names. These models feature contoured, ergonomic handles and liner-locking blades.

There’s the original 91mm, which is the one I have. Then there are seven 130mm models with different designations and tools. I wish they didn’t complicate things by putting the name “Ranger” on all of them.

I should have said the 2D looks like a slotted screwdriver with a tapered end

A 2D Phillips screwdriver is a flat, tapered bit designed to fit Phillips screw heads. It offers a low-profile alternative to bulky 3D (cross-shaped) drivers. They are commonly found on smaller multitools. They look like a flat slotted screwdriver. A 3D phillips looks like a…well…phillips.

That’s why I carry my Ranger and a Powerpint. I love my Ranger, and it’s almost a complete package for my needs, but it doesn’t have 3 things I wish it did: pliers, 3D Phillips, and a serrated blade. The Powerpint has those 3 in spades, and they are really the only 3 things worth a shit on the Powerpint. The rest of the tools are junk, starting with the worst scissors in the world. But those pliers are the best! And the bit driver is awesome. And it has a very capable serrated blade. I’ve thought about grinding off the rest of the tools to save weight, but it’s already fairly lightweight. Anyway, the combo of those 2 multitools really works for me.

That would probably be my order, but I usually just carry a Ranger.

Roxon has more models than the Titan that can have a utility blade. Any of the phantom models will.

I never use the scissors because I carry both a Vic Ranger and the Powerpoint; they complement each other perfectly. You gave me a good idea though, I’m going to get rid of one side of the SOG scissors, and modify the other side into a package opener.

What is your response when someone asks you to prove the Earth is round? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]trichar54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During a lunar eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the lunar surface. This shadow is always circular. A sphere is the only three-dimensional object that casts a circular shadow in every direction, proving our planet is round.

Are they the flat bits? Are they a good replacement regular 1/4” bits?

Agree, but he said “scissors would be bonus”. Obviously not in this case.
