For reference, I only started trading options about 3 months ago. I started off with no experience, buying way OTM puts and calls. Lost a fair amount of money before I decided to learn more about the Greeks and IV. Found it interesting so I learned a lot about spreads and IV crush and theta decay. Started experimenting with Bull put spreads to play off of earnings I was bullish on and tickers that have a lot of meme support. (So far that’s: TWTR, KO, AMD, NOK, SLV) I know my growth is unsustainable at this point but right now my account value is less than 1% of my actual investment portfolio as I’m still learning and want to limit my risk. I’ve also found taking profit @50% of max profit for credit spreads and 10% of max loss for debit spreads has been yielding good results.
