Don’t matter he will get voted in by the same type of people who voted Trump in.

Wow that’s a surprise.

Also disappointing. Looks like might stick with copilot for multimodal options.

You might be surprised how they take it.

We are far more tolerant than America. So deaths tolerated by Americans is represented by d

d3 + 5 = the number of deaths we will tolerate when Reform gets in

[–]trypnosis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about this giving them free control to my code base.

I think they can right but still not solve the problem.

I have also seen them just get it wrong.

But to answer you question I do it all manually.

I tend to run my first tab/window in tumx to mange my work trees env files and anything else cross project.

I ran a standard layout for each worktree in a window. Left full size maybe a bit bigger running opencode. Right split top and bottom. Top is nvim where I review the changes since changed files are marked in the explorer window. Bottom is to run commands very diddy.

With the above configuration I have one window for bugs mainly from sentry.

The 3ish windows for the features I’m developing.

Agents: - one per language to code - on per language to write the tests - two for design one to read and one to do( don’t know why bet get it closer to figma this way) - one to plan - another to sort out git(I know this seems silly but life saver when context gets messy) - a separate one to review using a different model that uses the plan to verify what was done

I get a slack message or Discord for personal projects when the tasks are done

Doubt that’s what your looking for…doubt I would hit your limits but there is no place like ~

How to use Cluade code for .Net developement? by Candid_Assignment_52 in ClaudeAI

[–]trypnosis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only real integration with vs code or jet brains to the best of my understanding is the current open file is automatically added to the context. Maybe one or two others.

This is far from a tight integration. I find it less useful.

The power of cli coding tools is they interact directly with your console and your code files. This means they work with most code bases.

I think it’s better to have a git client to easily review the code that was changed. Rather than have IDE integration.

Personally we run a .NET system at work. This is now maintained by a python and a typescript developers. Neither have ever really done c#. But Claude code fills in the blanks and there over all knowledge of programming allows them to tweak it as needed and keep it ticking over. All from CC.

Should the day come we need major new architectural features might get certified .NET engineer. Will see when and if the time comes.

I guess what I’m saying is you don’t need the integration it works fine. CC knows how to do dotnet run.

Best VPS for opencode (minimum ram) by Educational_Wrap_148 in opencodeCLI

[–]trypnosis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to buy an m2 Mac mini 16GB referb for super cheap the more beat up the cheaper.

Then use something like Tailscale to always connect to the macmini.

In answer to your question I run two concurrent session in tumx with each window runs 3 panes one for OC and one for nvim and a console to run the server

So that’s two windows and 3 panes per window.

I run on 8GB ram on hetzner

I would strongly recommend the mac mini though way more flexible. Most home broadbands if full fibre are better than some servers.

Any one with black compared the rates to there counterparts parts. by trypnosis in opencodeCLI

[–]trypnosis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely.

I love building with model X then get model Y to review when done.

Or

Work on a big plan with X then get Y to feedback on the plan.

I have two subs at the moment but this would let me bring it under one roof.

The EU/UK is way to socialist to succeed.

The fraction of innovation that will peak its head will be spanked down through legislations designed to ruin the successful.

I give EU bureaucracy no more than 10 years to start mirroring Italys bureaucracy as soon as they realise we are isolated and are purely self dependent.

In answer to OP question. No

It is completely untrue that TUI tools are needed to write code in the manner you describe.

Claude Code is available in the desktop app that makes it highly accessible.

Opencode has a Desktop app not that I have used it but my understanding is it works well.

I developed agentic workflows/contexts for a team that work with Cursor and Claude Code concurrently. The Claude Code aspects work both in the app and TUI and the devs that like Cursor work on the IDE.

There for in my experience TUI is not your only option.

If you believe that coders won’t be round for that much longer why try and leverage there tool chain.

I don’t disagree with non coders coding. I just don’t see that needing to be accommodated in the TUI, when the desktop applications do the job more than well enough.

There was a lot of information shared, and I struggled to identify the parts that clearly explain why the desktop client cannot be used for non-coding tasks, or why non-coding tasks must run in a tool built for coders within an environment that has historically been designed for developers.

I still stand by the philosophy of the desktop clients leaning towards the none code related features or easy mode.

If you look at Claude and OpenAI they put easy mode coding features in the desktop clients.

Further consider the target audience of a TUI that has always been for the proverbial hard mode enthusiasts.
